"We had the best time....."

10.0

A 3-Star Hotel with 4-Star Heart Before booking a hotel, the usual questions come to mind: Are the staff good? Yes, they’re fantastic. Is the food good? Absolutely, it’s delicious. Is the hotel clean? very clean. Is the entertainment good? It’s genuinely excellent. We had an outstanding stay at Pirates Village. It’s a 3-star hotel that delivers 4-star service. The staff work incredibly hard to make your experience special, and while you can sense the effort behind the scenes, as a guest you simply feel relaxed and cared for. The atmosphere is both laid-back and lively, perfect for families. You’ll feel like a millionaire staying here. The rooms are comfortable, the food and drinks for all-inclusive guests are top-notch, and the entertainment is a highlight. In a world where many businesses give little in return, Pirates Village stands out. It’s generous, welcoming, and full of heart. We’ll definitely be back. Hats off to the staff who we noticed the most. The blonde Scottish woman, whom we believed to be the manager, worked endlessly to ensure the safety of all the kids. She always made sure we had chairs to sit on during the shows. I even noticed her checking food temperature at times. she never stopped working, and she was so friendly and would never pass you by without saying hello. thanks a million. The tall barmaid. A friendly, happy lady who made the best drinks. Thank you. The crazy pirate with the bald head. You know who you are. You were fantastic. and very friendly. The friendly cleaner who cleaned room 227. such a nice person. The lady who cleans in the evening, such a hard worker. The lady at the front door. so friendly. And to all the rest.. You are all fantastic, We just did not get to know you all. Thanks a million for helping make our holiday a great one.

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5 – Fun, Friendly, and Full of Character!"

8.0

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5 – Fun, Friendly, and Full of Character! Just got back from a stay at Pirates Village, Santa Ponsa, and honestly, we had a brilliant time! There were a few little hiccups, but overall, it’s a fab place for families. Rooms & Cleanliness: The room cleaners were amazing — our apartment was spotless every single day. Rooms are a good size with really comfy beds, and I loved having the option to self-cater (a total bonus I didn’t realise we’d have!). That said, there were a few signs of wear and tear — some chipped paint, the bedroom door didn’t close properly, and a bit of discolouration/mould along the ceiling in the main room. Nothing major, but worth mentioning. Food: Now, I’ll admit, I’m a fussy eater — but breakfast was my happy place! The pancakes were delish (I may have eaten far too many), and there’s loads of choice: bacon, omelettes, pastries, full fry-up, continental bits, the lot. Be warned though — the queue for the freshly cooked stuff can get long, especially for bacon and omelettes. Lunch and dinner were a bit hit-and-miss for me. There are always options like pizza, chips, but grilled meats, curries, paella, changed each night with not a lot of variety, etc., but some of the meat was on the tough or bony side. If you’re there longer than a week, you’ll notice the food starts to repeat. Desserts were the weak spot for me — same few things every night and not great. But the lovely staff made up for it — they even brought me my favourite breakfast cupcakes at dinner after I explained I’ve got ARFID. So kind! The snack bar is included with a set menu of snack bar bits, there is an additional menu, but when you're all inc, who's looking to pay extra. The burgers are meat mixed so don't expect a thick beef patty, but slather on some sauce and it's nearly there. The onion rings were 10/10. I would eat again. Those onion rings and the Pancake man would be my main reason to return. Oh and the child care. ;) The dining hall staff deserve a medal. They’re constantly cleaning, clearing plates, and doing it all with smiles and jokes. They will sweep under your feet while you're eating and if you leave your plate to refill your drink, be prepared for it not to be there when you get back. One lady and I had an ongoing “Nutella war” she tried to take my plate and I protected it like a rabid squirrel that honestly made my mornings! And the pancake chef… my absolute BFF by the end. We had a running competition to see how many pancakes I could eat (25, for anyone wondering). 😂 Entertainment: The kids’ club is fantastic! open all day, really safe, and the team keeps the little ones busy with everything from foam parties to talent shows. The mini disco was the same every night, but the kids loved it and learned all the dances. Evening shows were fun but definitely interactive, you will get pulled on stage, so be prepared! My friend’s baby even got to play baby Simba during their Lion King show, which was adorable. The “Pirate Attack” events were absolutely hilarious >.
