Tentaciones Boutique Hotel - Ocean View & Private Pools - Adults Only

We went here on a suggeston of a freind that has been going there for years. It was an Anniversary getaway. We stayed 5 nights. We really enjoyed our time there. It is close to town, and a short walk to La Ropa beach. The service for breakfast, the bar and the room was impeccable and the room was very spacious and comfortable. We never used the inside shower, we used the outside one. The room is very private and quiet, except when they are setting up the dinner area upstairs between 3-4 pm. We never had dinner there becasue we wanted to try many of the surrounding dinning opportunities. The view everyday is spectacular. We also never went in the pool becasue the room has this mini pool on the outside deck that you can use privately. This room is called Alexandra. There only 4 rooms

Tentaciones is a delightful place! When we booked our stay we didn't realize that the property has only four rooms. Because of this, the staff is very small. You get to know everyone very quickly and they get to know you. Service becomes very personalized, very fast. Our host Salvador, Carmen at the front desk, and Luis in the restaurant were among our favorites. If you are looking for quiet intimacy, this is your place.

We had a beautiful stay in the Alejandro suite , the private peaceful environment was worth every penny!!

The view, the staff, the food….heaven on earth! Can’t wait to return. The staff makes you feel like family. The accommodations are beautiful. As soon as you walk through the front entrance, it takes your breath away. Thank you for an another amazing visit to Zihuatanejo.

Everything was excellent…but mostly Salvador, Carmen and the staff. Outstanding customer service..a very well coordinated and experienced team…best in Zihua. The pool was an unexpected pleasure as it was nearly a private experience with only four rooms.

Simply the best hotel experience in Zihua! The rooms! The view! The pool! The amazing staff! All of it was the best experience we have had in many, many trips to Mexico. The location is perfect, with short downhill walks to either La Ropa beach or to downtown. We opted for cheap cab rides back up to the hotel, but the walk is fine if you’re up to it. So much to do in Zihua, I only wish we stayed longer. Thanks to Carmen, Salvador, Luis, Chai and the rest of the excellent staff for making it a perfect vacation!!!

I am awestruck by this boutique hotel! I could have never imagined such a wonderful experience. From the time we arrived we were treated like kings and queens! Louis placed a most delicious margarita in our hands while we drank in the views of the entire Zihua Bay. Carmen treated us like family with her kindness and showed us the property and our rooms. We stayed in the Alejandra room which was very private and the wading pool was a treat every night while we sipped drinks and enjoyed Gods artistry of the sunset. Our room was so clean and full of all amenities from showering needs to soft towels and robes. Beds are firm which I loved and had a few options for pillows. The AC made the room cool and the frig with cold waters was a nice touch. The coffee in rooms was great and strong. The infinity pool was covered with umbrellas around the pool to rest in shade but I loved swimming to the edge to see the entire bay below! What a magical view and the church bells on Sunday was a blessing! For my birthday they decorated my room with flowers and balloons, just like family. Another amazing feature was our outdoor shower! What a dream I did not want to wake up from. Our breakfast each morning consisted of fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, fresh cold green juice and warm coffee. It was so quiet and peaceful! Louis greeted us every morning with smiles and his humor made us laugh! Carmen greeted us asking about our past day and future plans. They love their job as you see it through their smiles any joy. Too notch treatment. Our evenings at the hotel were spent with Chi making amazing drinks and delivering to our room during sunset. My favorite drink was the habernero pineapple margarita with black salt rum! Yum! We did celebrate my 50th birthday with dinner at the restaurant and Salvador the manager was full of life! He made the evening most memorable! The wait staff was busy making the evening perfect and all the guests enjoyed the views of the bay and everyone was merry! The chef has the Midas touch as every bite was full of flavour and cooked to perfection! I had the surf and turf but the soup, lobster app was magic in my mouth! Cheers to the chef! We spent 3 perfect nights and four days and did not want to leave! My husband and I never stay at the same hotel twice as we love to discover new places but this 5 star palace on the hill will be visited again! Whoever reads this review, I promise you will not regret this hotel! Not only Crystal clean, amazing views, perfect selection of drinks and delicious food but the staff makes this hotel for the most memorable vacation! Cheers to Tentaciones! Muchas Gracios!

I could not believe how much attention to detail went into everything both the hotel and food and beverage did for us each and every day.

Genuine red carpet 5 star service. This was our first time to Zihua. Our friends found this amazing hotel to celebrate their 50th birthday. We have traveled to Mexico several times and have stayed at an inclusive resorts and have never received this kind of TIP TOP service. We were welcomed by Carmen, the hotel manager that gave several recommendations of things to do in the area and making sure we had everything we needed. Our bartender Luis welcomed us with tamarind margaritas with chamoy they are to die for. He brought me breakfast in bed every morning. When we were driving away in our taxi Luis walked us out. He also had a very funny sense of humor and joking held onto the door as we drove away. We stayed in Roberta room, so quiet with the drop dead gorgeous views. We had our own personal tub and lounge chairs. The room was so roomy. Chai mixed up some fantastic drinks each night. Salvador made sure that we were taken care of with our vegetarian diet. The whole staff were meeting every need. We only saw 1 other guest the whole 4 days we were there because they only have 4 rooms total. We will return and bring our family.
