Tentaciones Boutique Hotel - Ocean View & Private Pools - Adults Only

What can I say that hasn't been said already. This place is AMAZING in every way. We came here for our honeymoon and it was spectacular! We stayed in the Alejandra suite. And boy did we pick a great room. Very large room with indoor and outdoor shower. The outside was great with our own plunge pool. Very private. The grounds are so beautiful words cannot give it justice. And the view, my God the view from the pool as well as our room. Now imagine all that then add the service. The people make you feel soooo welcomed and treat you like family. Special thank you to Luis and Carmen they took great care of us and made sure we had anything we needed. The rest of the staff is amazing as well. It was truly or favorite trip ever. We love to travel but there has not been anything like this. We can't wait to return!!

This hotel is perched on top of a cliff with no beach access. You can't just walk out. You need a taxi each time. There was no information about the food service or amenities. We read a review saying the dinner was $100/plate. When I called the hotel I got the same information. It wasn't true. It was December and there was a LOT of noise from the beach below (a BOOM! BOOM! BOOM machine ! for hours every day We couldn't find management when we needed them one night. They had given us a cell no. but no one responded.

If I could have given more than a 5-star rating, I would have. The hotel only has 4 rooms (we were the only guests due to low season) and has an incredible view of Zihautanejo Bay from everywhere on the property. It's also walking distance to a couple of top restaurants down the hill. The real difference for us was the staff at the hotel. It seemed their only concern was to make sure we had the best time possible. So thank you Chai, Carmen and Salvador for making this truly special.

Tentaciones Hotel & Lounge / Tentaciones Restaurant (two listings in Trip Advisor) We’ve visited Tentaciones for dinner several times in the past and always left believing they were the best restaurant in Zihuantanejo. They treated us like family, remembered us from year to year and delivered impeccable service with great food and drink. Nothing has changed, it remains the best restaurant we know in Zihua. But this time we stayed at the hotel. Four rooms, all beautiful, each with their own character, make it hard to choose. No matter, we would love any of them. And staying the night just reinforces the personal level of service from the staff, Carmen, Salvatore, Chai, Pablo, Oscar, and the rest, treating us like special guests of the family. We can’t wait to return.

Our stay was divine! The staff were so warm, gracious and welcoming. It was a vacation of a lifetime! I would love to stay there again.

Amazing boutique hotel that has the best view of Zihua! We stayed in the Ana Catarina room that has a private jacuzzi that is just perfect. The restaurant was sensational - everything we ate was delicious. We especially liked the tuna. We came here a few years ago and it was even better than we remembered - the service was great too. A must when in Zihua!

From our arrival to our departure, everything was excellent! Not just good...EXCELLENT! Tino and Sambrese met us at our car to welcome us and carry our luggage upon arrival. One of Chai's amazing tamarindo margaritas was next on the agenda...flower petals galore on the bed and in your whole room from Rosy....Carmen always at the ready to help with reservations, information, whatever you may need. Breakfast is a feast for both the eyes and the palate and dinner is an other worldy experience with the food AND the view! Salvador, Pablo , Alberto and more make it so special to dine there. We really feel like family there and begin dreaming of going again as soon as we get home every year!

We can't say enough about our stay at this magical place. The rooms at stunning, ours had a private splash pool, deck with lounge chairs and a table. The interior was gigantic and very well appointment, the bed was so comfy. I will say the best part of our stay was the amazing staff, From Carmen the hotel manager, to Salvatore the restuarant manager, and Pablo, Oscar and so many more whose names I can't remember. The made us feel so special, yet so not stuffy. The views are Breathtaking. Just book it, you won't be sorry.

We truly loved our stay at Tentaciones. We spent 7 nights in the Ana Catalina room. The room was large with double sinks and double shower. We had pocket doors which lead to a patio that had a double lounger, table with 2 chairs and plunge pool that was absolutely perfect to relax in after a hot day. We loved our view both night and day. At night the hills light up with the city lights making it so beautiful. Tentaciones is famous in the area for their restaurant. We had breakfast at the hotel every morning and often had lunch there as well. The food is amazing as well as their Tamarindo Margaritas!! Since there are only 8 guests staying at any given time, lounging at the infinity pool was so relaxing. Soft music in the background and a staff that is so friendly and there to help with anything you need. Carmen helped us with Taxis and reservations in the area. Carmen is so incredibly hospitable and a pleasure to see and talk to everyday. We already miss Tentaciones and are looking forward to our next stay!
