Tentaciones Boutique Hotel - Ocean View & Private Pools - Adults Only

Beautiful hotel, great location with beautiful views. Carmen is a great front desk manager; Salvador is a great maître’d in charge of the restaurant for dinners and provides excellent customer service, and Luis is very friendly and great with customers.

The hotel is not equipped for people with mobility problems, there are no handrails going to some of the rooms except Thalia which is on the main floor, If you are staying in the other suites you must take steep long stairs, if you have any knee problems or any other handicap, this is not the hotel for you. If you are planning to stay at Tentaciones, you will need WhatsApp because there are no phones in the rooms. Whatever you need, you must make the request through WhatsApp.

Staff was super friendly, they treated us like family. The hotel is beautiful, very clean and classy Breakfast was included , beautifully presented with fresh local ingredients

Everything thing was exceptional, the hotel is on the hill so there is about 170 steps to get up to the hotel. My husband and I liked the hike up and did it about 2-3 times a day. It was our form of working out. So if you don’t like hiking up then you will have to take a taxi

I booked a room here for a week to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday. The property and staff are simply amazing...I can't imagine there is a better spot to stay in Zihua. Carmen, Luis, and all the staff made us feel like royalty. We stayed in the Alejandra suite (Expedia calls it the Romantic suite). It was completely private and had it's own dipping pool and outdoor shower. We splurged on dinner here on our first night and it was amazing...worth every penny. The views are amazing, and we spent a lot of time lounging by the infinity pool while letting all of our cares melt away. The location is perfect: it's a quick walk to either Playa la Madera/town in one direction or Playa La Ropa in the other. It's a bit of an uphill hike to get back to the hotel, but it helps burn off the calories from all the delicious food you'll eat while in Zihua! The only thing I would change is to book directly with the hotel rather than through Expedia. I wanted to change one night on my reservation, but Expedia couldn't seem to make that happen. I found it impossible to get a real person at Expedia, and their stupid bot was worthless. The Hotel staff were willing to make the change, but their hands were tied since I made the reservation through Expedia (This seems to be a common theme whenever booking through Expedia)

I loved everything about the property! It’s a perfect indoor outdoor boutique hotel. There are only 4 rooms here which made it feel extremely exclusive and private. The views alone made it worth the price. The ambiance is very luxurious and romantic. It is also a restaurant so getting dinner was easy. I stayed in the Alejandra suite with the private pool and watching the sunsets from there were breath taking. The service was also top tier. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I felt right at home! The rooms also have AC to keep you cool. Location is great. Only a 3-5 minute walk to La ropa beach and even closer via taxi. Very close to the central market.

The only problem I had during my stay was the outside life (ants, flies, etc) but this is a given and nothing to complain about. It’s just the way things are with a lot of outdoor features. Sometimes they would get around our private pool but nothing a splash of water can’t fix.

Amazing view, beautiful eclectic property, friendly helpful staff, gourmet food - wonderful way to celebrate a milestone event. There is a set menu with choices for appetizers, salads, mains and desserts and prices are at the high end but the food was outstanding and worth it. This is an experience restaurant!

From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in warmth and genuine hospitality. The sadness we felt before checking out caught us by surprise, a testament to the unforgettable experience we had. The entire team went above and beyond to care for us and anticipate our every need, setting a standard of service that is unmatched anywhere else on earth. This wasn’t just a one-time experience—across multiple stays, they continually surpass our expectations, leaving us in awe of their dedication and excellence. We loved the staff, view and the rooms. Everything was very thought out and well executed. Staff was super responsive and proactive. Facilities was very clean.

I would have loved if there was a golf cart to take the staff to and from the beach. When it’s hot out, it’s less enjoyable walking up long hills.
