Palazzo dei Mercanti - Historical Residence

It was my first trip to Ascoli Piceno, and the hotel made arriving super easy by emailing instructions on parking and driving directions upon reserving the room. Just the start of their superb service. All of the staff were professional and friendly and ready to give advice on the best restaurants and places to see. The hotel was beautifully restored and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent in every way.

Clean modern centrally located to all town attractions. Extremely friendly and helpful staff spoke English very well and very helpful in making day trip and restaurant suggestions. Took our car and parked it at one of their parking location nearby. Very clean updated and modern room and facilities. Didn't get the chance to relax in the Spa. Many quaint small towns nearby to visit we went to two Civitella Del Tronto and Grottomare one in the mountains and one by the sea each just 30 or so mins drive

Excellent hotel in a beautiful location. The town is just fantastic, full of wonderful Historic buildings, really good restaurants and great value

A wonderful adaptation of an old Palazzo. Hotel very convenient for town centre. We paid 15 euros a night to have our hire car parked away from the hotel area which had limited parking. This was very convenient for us as we spent our two days wandering around the town and visiting some of the historial places of interest. Ascoli is a very vibrant town with lots of varied places to eat and drink at reasonable prices.

A lovely experience from start to finish. The hotel contacted us via email a day prior to our arrival with driving directions and parking suggestions. The room was ready, clean, and had all necessary amenities. We'd stay here again!

I complained three times about Wi-Fi not working in any of our two rooms, the front desk staff essentially ignored all the complaints by explaining that "nothing could be done."

Outstanding reception. staff, nothing was too much trouble, they took our car to a secure parking lot and it didn't cost the earth..and every morning we had a sincere welcome wonderful . The young man in the breakfast room was not too friendly no warm unlike the reception team.that said the food on offer was very good.

Wonderful friendly and helpful staff. They addressed our every need promptly. The rooms are comfortable, the included breakfast was adequate. The hotel location is in convenient walking distance to the town's attractions.

The Palazzo Mercanti was a pleasant surprise. Not only is it in a beautifully renovated medieval building of historic signficance right in the centre of town, the staff we met were all excellent, courteous, helpful and friendly.
