Tamarind Beach Bungalows

The hotel and rooms are dated the bathrooms are really run down but the location service and pool are good.

Great place just in front of the sea. Not luxury’s but for the price is very a good deal! So many places sells their room more than 50 box and don’t care to build a bungalow next to your. Don’t care about the noise and the prices that they offer. Here you can relax go to the sea it’s close to mushroom beach and the staff is nice! Thank you guys

It’s funny because I first came here a few years ago and it was not nearly as tired back then as it is now. I stayed here the last time with family and it was a bad trip. Every time we ate the free breakfast we all got instant stomach aches and had to go straight to the bathroom! TMI I know but we saw rats in the kitchen, tons of moxies in rooms, stains in the bed, and everything was just so dark and dingy. If you wanted to stay up and play cards and have a few drinks you have to get up each time and go and ask for something because they literally will not serve you. During the day the place is overrun by day tourists who take over, and make the people who stay there feel like a massive burden. Will never stay there again. There are way nicer places for the same price. Yes the location is good but it’s just not worth it. It’s a shame because this place has so much potential they just don’t seem to care to make it nice, or even decent

great little place could be better with a bit of maintenance ,air con was crap as was wifi connection, great view lovely staff !

The staff is uninterested and the food is below anything I have seen in Bali so far. The tuna steak was super thin, totally dry, smelled weird and was dipped into cold hoisin sauce. It isn’t cheap either. The view might be nice, but others can do this as well.

This was a hotel built with love and care, but now needs a little TLC. I think the fault is with the shabby development around the property and the beach and water in front of the hotel is unusable. But a few minutes walk will take you to a lovely beach. Staff was sweet (thank you, Gede). Gardens were lovely, rooms are nice and large, food is good, pool is great, but the pool bar should be renovated.

From the beginning we felt unwelcome! The lady at the desk seemed surprised and very angry to get two new guests.. We were told that the rooms we had booked didn't have air condition (though it clearly states so on hotels.com) After a having talked to the manager we were upgraded to a "better room".. Horrible room! Dirty, a sofa with 3 working legs, and a huge bathroom (not good) with a broken closet! I will never go here again! Lots of room mates by the way (animals/insects)

My friend and i are two ladys in our sixtys Upon arrival the staff were not interested in us booking in almost to the point of being rude. After climbing two flights of steps the last being very steep we informed the staff that we wouldnt be able to cope with the steps and requested another room we were told we could have the SUITE !!! Which was a one bedroom,collaped couch, dirty so tired a whole pile of pebbles where the bath used to be. We asked for a roll out bed got a foam matress thrown on the floor. Ended up we were the only ones in the place and we didnt feel safe at all. My birthday experience was terrible didnt look on trip advisor as the motel was recommended by a friend. Never again with out checking trip advisor.

My partner and daughter stayed here for 3 nights lots of mosquitos from Qld so that wasn’t to bad. No fridge cold shower. Breakfast was very poor and found they can’t serve what’s in menu was told out of stock at least 5 times. Apart from that great pool and views only to be over run by a boat that drops day tourists off and for $5 they take over the pool and lounge chairs get in early 😂

We love Tamarind! The staff are lovely, the food is good and well priced. Rooms are big and basic but for price exceptional value with awesome location. If you are not looking for 5 star you can’t beat this place. Enjoy the pool and leave relaxed.
