Toilet not working, bath door and the whole room needs lots of improvement, not good for the value

It started with a nice greeting upon arrival. The staff were all very friendly, speaking Spanish and English. The room was clean and comfortable with a/c and a ceiling fan. Walking distance to Central Market, and there are many restaurants in the area.

Vlak bij de bus naar onze eindbestemming: Nosara. In plaats van de trap op te moeten zeulen met onze zware koffers en zeer vroeg in de ochtend weer naar beneden, kregen we een kamer op de begane grond toegewezen. Heel attent.

The lady at the reception was very friendly If you want to stay out past 10 pm just let them know and someone will be awake to let you in. It worked out fine with me

Hola buenas tardes, primero debo de decir que la reservación qué hice se efectuó de la manera correcta directamente con la app, solicite una habitación de cama matrimonial con un baño privado! Pero cuando llegue al hotel para pagar y hospedarme la señorita de recepción me dijo que ella ya había vendido mi habitación y que me ofrecía una habitación diferente a la que solicite, una de cama individual y camarote sin baño privado, o otra habitación con baño pero con cama individual, camarote y el baño, en ese momento solo me quedaba aceptar lo que me ofrecía por el motivo que era de noche y buscar opciones a esa hora después de un largo viaje se hacía un poco incómodo, nos adaptamos a lo que había se nos hizo un descuento por la habitación de 7000 menos, pero viene otro detalle el servicio que estaba fuera de la habitación tenía problemas de agua! Mi esposo se baño y quedo a medias, por que se fue el agua y el servicio nunca se le lleno el tanque de agua!!! Osea tuvimos que usarlo de esa forma! No tuve la mejor experiencia me gustaría que mejorarán el servicio o que llevaran un orden en las reservaciónes!

We really like this place but it should be clear that this is a hotel and not a hostel. I have seen it listed both ways online and had expected to be able to make coffee when I arrived but found out we did not have access to the kitchen. Luckily the staff was excellent and heated water for us and we had our afternoon coffee.
