House keeping, front desk did not have record of your booking and the room changed

Good location

Very bad services and management. The Airconditioning did not work for two consecutive days and despite desperate repeated complaints they did not fix it. The manager called Prabhakaran is full of lies and False assurances. He promised us to give refund for two nights and I have been chasing up since the day we came back and he’s not picking up the call or responding. We paid Rs.77,000 for three nights and I think it’s a complete rip off or not at all worth it. They provided old metal beds the ones that you see in government hospitals which were making bad Creaking noise and my daughter almost fell on the floor because One was damaged. This is not at all a good hotel property and I sincerely would not recommend to anyone and I am going to post this review on Instagram Facebook and Google review as well. More importantly, I have lost trust on Booking.com because they have placed this as a highly rated resort on their website which is very misleading and from now on neither my family nor my family members and friends will book through Booking.com as we have lost confidence on Booking.com. We will be switching over to other holiday booking agencies. It is important that Booking.com take this review seriously and talk to the management of this property and particularly Prabhakaran ,the manager who is full of lies.

The location is good and the place has a lot of potential but there are serious drawbacks that keep the resort from feeling premium. First the good, the location, the weather and the cleanliness. Now the bad, the food is extremely expensive and the quantity is very poor (eg: one portion of chilli chicken is 800Rs but comes with 5 to 6 pieces, mocktails are 650Rs and above, ect) also a lot of the nice dishes are not even available. The room, too small for a family of 4! They just got two extra rollable mattresses into the small room and there was no space at all to move around. Did not feel premium at all. The description of the room that they were selling on the website did not match with what was actually avilable at all. Over all I was not very pleased with my stay at the grand palace Yercaud.

Food was good. Staff was good.

Restaurant staff was overwhelmed. They could not handle the crowd. Less seating . We requested for ice cubs - it was never sent. Food Ordered and served was different (Global Cuisine) . Lack of experienced staff Room maintenance /cleanliness was average.
