The Hanover Hotel

We stayed for Taylor Swift weekend. The staff were so wonderful, everyone really welcomed us warmly and looked after us. The receptionist is really nice and the lady who cooked our breakfast too. We loved our stay and highly recommend. The Beatles memorabilia is very cool.

Room 3 was very clean. A comfortable bed too. Good amount of tea,coffee and biscuits. Had a perfectly cooked English breakfast too. Unfortunately a lot of noisy people walking past until around 6pm gavevme a very poor night's sleep. Centrally located .

Great affordable hotel/pub near to everything

Stayed here last November great location bang in the centre if town only stayed for the one night only 40 pound for the night including breakfast couldn't fault the place will b staying here in future bus stop from airport beside hotel didn't here any noise maybe because it was Thursday will b staying this November

Decent room , nice staff. Bit noisy but it’s city centre. Excellent value

I was unlucky and had the room over the disco!! BUT, it all stopped at midnight, and only the Friday evening was loud , other evenings we had pleasant disco music

Just booked my second stay here, basic hotel with fantastic staff and bar. Central location and very good value, cant wait to return, also not noisy as some have said. Breakfast is also included in the price, what more could you ask for. I will review again after next stay

Great location, travelling as a single person, room clean and comfortable, breakfast good, only downside it was noisy outside until 7am

Stayed for my husbands 50th for 2 nights 5th untill the 7th Jan , room was spotless, very cozy bed breakfast was amazin surved by a lovely lady nothing was to much trouble , definitely worth the money we will be back for sure
