"Great for the view"

The bedroom was clean & well appointed with tea & coffee & biscuits but the main feature was the seaview from the bay window

We had booked before, apparently, there was no option to book breakfast - all reviews we'd read said breakfast was delicious. It would be a good idea if no food is available to have a microwave available - there was a fridge There is parking 2 doors away which could be a problem if raining or unwell as I was on arrival The sun lounge described as somewhere to drink your cuppa in the morning is only really a small corridor

"Captain's Lodge."

Excellent accommodation, lovely very accommodating host Kathy, nothing was too much trouble . Everything about our stay was superb, and would highly recommend anyone visiting the area to stay at the Captain's Lodge.

it was in the ideal place for exploring all of the Northumbrian Area. we went to Alnwick Gardens ( excellent) to Craster and Bamborough Casle (also excellent). Newbiggen is an excellent base and this is an excellent B&B
