Everything was great from start to finish. We felt so at home with Alex and Annie. The room was lovely and breakfast was fantastic. The location was great we really enjoyed our stay.

"Home from home"

I had the best two nights' sleep I had had in a long time. The bed was very comfortable and the temperature of the room perfect. It was warm outside and there was a fan should I have needed it but I was ok. There was plenty of tea and coffee and am sure, had I ran out, then I could have been provided with more. The shower was hot and powerful and the large bathroom had everything anyone needs. I didn't have breakfast because I have a very small appetite and it would have been wasteful. Now the proprietors. Alex and Annie greeted me with a cup of tea and a full explanation of the area. They told me how to get to where I had wanted to go and had a passion for sharing their knowledge of the area. Local information was provided without me having to ask. I didn't see them much but then that was because I went out early and was gone for the day. They both bid me farewell and a safe onward journey. The little touches that you get from an independent business were spot on.
