A phenomenal stay. Can’t say enough how much we enjoyed it. Our last night in Japan and this was the ultimate experience. From the moment we entered we were treated with kindness and respect. Every detail is considered and noticed… even the cutlery was laid out correctly for a left-handed guest. You need to book the baths and then take turns to use the showers in the morning but everything flowed smoothly. Dinner was exceptional - 7 courses meticulously prepared by the owner, who afterwards gave a very informative talk about the history of the inn. Breakfast is served in your room and cleared away an hour later. Everything moves like clockwork but at the speed you need while on holiday. If you want an authentic experience of Japan then we can’t recommend Izayusu enough - it was a dream come true!

The staff was really nice with the exception of the manager - he was rude to me and gave me a really bad attitude. I do like the room design overall

The manager and the price. For a shared shower and strict curfew at 11pm and strict breakfast timing from 7am to 8.30 pm the price is ridiculously high and more than luxury hotels. When I was trying to understand their prices in general the manager gave me a bad attitude - this is something terrible considering the concept and energy of the hotel. Very dissapointing

お食事が想像を超えた内容で、驚きと感動です。 二十四節気を通した食材や在り方についても 丁寧にご説明下さり、生きとし生けるもののへの意識が広がりました。日本の素晴らしさを体験させて頂きました。

夜半、風が強まり窓の音が気になりましたが、古来の日本家屋…これも一興の体験だなと感じました
