"Beautiful Ryokan with history"

We loved everything about our stay: beautiful rooms, little onsen-style bathroom one can book privately and most importantly extremely welcoming hosts who cooked an amazing Kaiseki for us. Not only was the food delicious but every dish was explained including some interesting historical facts. The location is about 7 mins by foot from Kyoto station, so very convenient. We definitely recommend this special place to anyone visiting Kyoto!

This is AMAZING!! Our best stay in Japan so far! The place has so much history and is beautiful, the staff are impeccable, the food is absolutely delicious! Don’t think about it twice - book here and book for the dinner also!
