The selection of gluten free items was very limited, there was no gluten free bread

Some of our wedding party stayed over night, and joined us for a very enjoyable breakfast. All loved the accommodation. Clean and tidy and staff lovely and very helpful. We had booked the superior double but was not available due to unforseen circumstances, fortunately they had another room and although small it was perfectly acceptable. Would highly recommend. Beautiful location also.

My husband became ill as we arrived at the hotel. The kindness of the staff checking us in was so appreciated. At midnight I had to dial 999 to request an ambulance. The owner opened up the hotel and fielded calls to medical staff via his telephone as my French phone did not work. Without his support I am not sure I could have coped! I highly rate the hotel, the kindness of staff, and of their ‘local’ community who made me welcome. Everyone went above and beyond. THank you all SO much!

The hotel was situated in the middle of a delightful village. The breakfast at the hotel was excellent. The owners were very friendly and obliging.

Not really a criticism but the shower didn't drain properly and I had to be quick before the water flowed over the edge of the shower and onto the floor, risking flooding below the room.

Good breakfast, quiet room and a place to collapse very tired after a day walking with a full pack. First time I have stayed in a historic building that was not a Youth Hostel.

Nothing obvious

The room and en suite were perfectly adequate for a short stay and the staff were delightful and helpful.

The breakfast was slightly under par - no fruit or yogurt and rather weak coffee. The room lacked a comfortable chair and hanging/storage space.
