Die Lage.

Die 2 Zimmer die wir belegt hatten waren beide sehr schmutzig. Das Fenster ließ sich nicht öffnen.

Room on the chilly side, failed LED reading lamp, for us the 2 flights of narrow stairs were a challenge

Comfy ish bed.

Very very dirty,from top to bottom,dust and cobwebs on wardrobe,lights, door frames,skirtings. Poorly decorated, the bathroom sink and toilet was clean however the shower cubicle had mold and grime all around the edges, and the sealant, bathroom floor had paint and all sorts of other dirt on it, there is definitely no attention to cleanliness or detail, the whole place smelt of cigarette and grease. We was worried about breakfast, and food was ok however didn’t wanna eat much as the trolly it arrived on was very dirty, lesson is basic cleaning and hygiene would benefit this b@b

The rooms were warm and beds comfortable. The biscuits were plentiful and tasty. The bedside power sockets were useful. The breakfast was ok.

The strong smell of stale / not so stale (!) nicotine smoke on the middle floor was unexpected and unacceptable. The rooms were dusty with cobwebs, the overall decor was very tired and outdated. The entrance hall was cluttered as was the middle floor. It would have been nice if the breakfast wasn’t taken in the bedrooms.

We had booked 3 double rooms and 1 single room. As soon as we entered the property and walked up the stairs we could all see the property needed a very good clean throughout. All 4 rooms were not up to the standards we expected and we had to find alternative accommodation. Photos were taken to give to booking.com if required. After reporting the property to booking.com the owner did refund us in full as we had requested. Stains on bed sheets and mattress protector. Dust everywhere. Mould in showers. Cobwebs behind toilet.

The actual room was very nice. Quirky but pleasant decor, a nice bathroom, great shower with hot water and a rainfall shower head. Breakfast was lovely and there's a good view of the harbour out the window.

The room was very clean and tidy and well appointed, but the entrance to the hotel, the stairways and landings etc are pretty tired and are in desperate need of a good deep clean and de-cluttering.

Comme à la maison ! Accueil très sympathique. Petit déjeuner en chambre super 👍
