Turbine Hotel and Spa

Hotel is unique and interesting,rooms are modern and well planned . Food was good but ... big but ... service although cheerful was so slow and incompetent in the dining room . Gave up waiting for cooked breakfast order after an hour even after a prompt that we were still waiting ,another 20 minutes passed. Lots of staff around . We left to get on with our day . The island bar team on the other hand were on it with the drinks service and the food order. Reception staff were polite and efficient but could be more welcoming and interested to ask whether stay had been pleasant.

This is a unique Hotel. It's interesting, well run and managed and with a very interesting history as an old power station. Many of these aspects are now features and it all combines to make a wonderful experience. The rooms are very well appointed and immaculately clean. If we find ourselves back int he area this would be a number one choice!

The staff maketh the experience ! Always a great stay at this marvelous modern quirkey hotel - neat as a pin - friendly as a giant ! The staff here make you feel like you are a VIP even if your in the lesser expensive rooms - Bravo to all at Turbine 👍

Unique hotel in a beautiful settting. Spacious, clean rooms within walking distance to shopping and restaurants.

Loved how they integrated the old power stations parts as accessories in this unique hotel. Also loved the location. We chose to rent ebikes & in 1 hr you can drive on a path around the island. I had one of the best massages at their spa and their food is great as well. You’re also 5 min from the waterfront where there are many restaurants & shops.
