"Eh its an old hotel"

6.0

Well to start off the elevator was broken. The stairs are uneven as its an old hotel. If you are handicap, make sure to call and reserve a room on level 1, or 2. We stayed on the 4th floor and man did we get our steps in. Supposedly there is a ghost named Billy who hangs out up there, if you leave candy for him, the wrappers will be the only thing left. If you stay on the 3rd floor, there is a female who haunts a room and attacks males. The rooms are decent for an old hotel, bathrooms are on another level. We had a raised bathtub with legs, in order to to shower you had to make sure the plastic shower curtain would stay inside so you wouldn't have water damage. Now trying to shower snd not get taken down by the shower curtain was rough. You know the plastic isn't cleaned 💯. That was kind of gross. The other rooms my family stayed in on the 2nd floor; one room literally looked out to a roof where workers were fixing the roof, the other room had a nice view of the street/alleyway. The chairs in all the rooms that we had were on their last leg, they almost collapsed when sitting in them. The coffee maker in the rooms have not been cleaned, you could tell where the water goes in there was build up. So gross. The coffee tasted like crap and I had to go to the local coffee shop to get my fix. Also, there is no designated parking lot for this hotel. Its a hike, and if you are handicap, first come first serve for in front of hotel parking. I will stay in Tombstone next time and just do Bisbee as a day trip.

"Loved the historical aspect. Elevator def needs to be fixed for guests with mobility issues"

The historical aspect

Elevator broken. Made it hard for us to get up stairs especially with luggage. Had to take toilet tank cover off when toilet flushed so could adjust flapper otherwise water kept running. View from window very ugly- see attached photo. Had to make sure blinds shut in bathroom so someone across could t look in

"Go Elsewhere"

4.0

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. It’s overpriced and not well maintained. I was told they were gonna charge us $500 for water damage to the floors. The only way we weren’t charged is because my husband took a photo and video of the pipe that was leaking. In the photo attached you can see the leaking pipe and how freaking dirty the floor is. He also took a video of the toilet which could practically be taken up off the floor. The room was dusty and dirty, the remote looked like it had been melted, and the floor gave way with every step we took. I understand it’s old and they want to preserve that. But there’s a difference between preservation and simply not maintaining. They didn’t charge us the $500 (because of our evidence), but it completely ruined our last day of our anniversary trip. We ended up staying at the Bisbee Grand Hotel instead which was a much better experience for a much cheaper price. The lady at the Bisbee Grand Hotel got us a room last minute and got it cleaned for us really quickly. Super friendly, very accommodating. If you want historic charm that is also well maintained, go to Bisbee Grand Hotel instead of this place. P.S. There is an elevator at Copper Queen Hotel but it doesn’t work. We luckily don’t need it, but just a heads up for anyone elderly/disabled.

Great historic hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Location, and hearing the friendly ghost stories.

Carpet worn in area and a little cleaning need in areas.
