Copper Queen Hotel

The Copper Queen is an historic hotel in the heart of Bisbee. Great location, and friendly supportive staff. The history is palpable.

The hotel is slowly becoming, or at least feeling, run-down. In addition, it appears so understaffed that one person out (bartender) caused both the bar and the restaurant to be closed during our stay.

Beds and towels were clean. Beds comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful.

Rug in room looked dirty-could just have been stained. Paint on wall was chipped from furniture, bathroom windowsill needed painting badly. Restaurant was not open when we were there, elevator was not working. How could that be handicapped accessible! Expensive.

Staff not friendly and greeted first by signing a waiver to not get water on bathroom floor or pay 500.00 to replace then told don't loose key because we will be billed 50.00. I asked about parking and was told just look for spots without red paint. No map no directions at all given just told drive around. Then the elevator did not work and the ice machine had only a little ice on the very bottom of machine. Restaurant in hotel was not open on the weekend. The wallpaper in the room was ripped. Carpet in room dirty looking and torn at door. Shower curtain was so long the we had small area to stand in shower and almost tripped getting in and out of tub. The tv kept going in and out and the volume was difficult to control along with the fact the control was taped holding the batteries in as the cover was missing. In general for the price I was really disappointed with the experience. The evening desk lady was helpful but the day lady as friendly as bathing with a brillo pad. Sorry to say but would not recommend .

Bathroom wasn’t clean. Someone else’s hair on floor in the shower. No soap in shower stall. Room floor should be carpet cleaned a couple times a year. Stay ahead of maintenance

I booked two rooms for March 18, 2026 at the Copper Queen Hotel for my husband and I and our son and granddaughter. I booked them on February 19th through Booking.com and I recieved a confirmation with confirmation #. The total for these two rooms was $400.20, to be paid upon our arrival. When we arrived at the hotel they did not have our reservation. Fortunately for us they did have two queen rooms left. Ours was on the 3rd floor, and the elevator was not working so our son switched rooms with us and carried our luggage up the stairs to the 2nd floor room for us. Of note the carpet on the stairs was worn and quite dirty. On a positive note, the room was quaint, and the beds were comfortable. However, the bathrooms in both rooms were not clean. In our room #210, there was peeling paint and some black mold next to the tub. The tub shower was very worn and dirty looking. It was evident that he floor behind the toilet had not been cleaned in a long time. The bathroom cabinets and baseboards had a build-up of dust as evidence of not being wiped down in some time. After our stay, my son reached out to hotel management via email but did not receive any response. Our stay was highly dissapointng and I would not recommend staying at this hotel.
