"Excellent"

The accommodations were good, but probably would have been unremarkable if located elsewhere. Because the town is remote, rural, and very small, this hotel was a good choice. The location was beautiful.

This is very beautiful place and environment. If you want to see the puffins, this is the place to stay. They can tell you when is the good time to see the puffins. Breakfast is great too!

"Perfect stay!"

I loved this place! The owner is so friendly and really makes you feel welcome and at home. The location is perfect for hiking and puffin watching. Nice dinner and breakfast served at the hotel, great shower and amazing views from the room.

We were greeted right when arrived by the very personable Arngrímur. He was an amazing host and an even better cook! The food was delicious, the rooms looked amazing and were so clean. All the amenities we needed were provided and he even gave us advice as to where the perfect spot to see the puffins were. I would 100% recommend this guesthouse to anyone travelling in the area, and would deffinetly go back just for the hospitality provided by Arngrímur!

Great reception. I was planning a new itinerary for my tour company and everyone was very accommodating. A little mix up with my room so have ne a glass of wine and an upgrade. Cute bunnies running the property everywhere. They have lived there for 30 years. Convenient for flying into Akyuri in the North for skiing. Loved it. Good buffet dinner and breakfast.

My best hotel in Island. Location ... wow !!! A cute village. The restaurant and service at the hotel is amazing. I recommend this hotel to everyone. In addition, you can see puffins (birds) on the dock.

"Beautiful view."

Place was awesome. Quite and clean. Amazing natural view of mountains, valley and ocean. Drive to hotel during daytime to avoid fog at night.
