"Great little find!"

8.0

This is a great small pousada, recently renovated. I had a room at the upper floor. It was quiet and clean. The decor was new and inviting. The breakfast service is nice. Watch out with WiFi coverage: it does not work well in the room or outside of the patio. Would gladly stay there again if I have plans in the Santa Teresa area.

"Lovely Charming little hotel"

10.0

Quinta Azual is the cutest place + very clean and nicely done both in the room and the patio/common area. 2. Extremely good customer service, the crew there are very friendly and the will make your stay personal. (they absolutely made us feel at home) Both morning we were 2 hours late for breakfast and they still offered us breakfast and second day they put cut fruits aside for us! 3. I liked Santa tereza a lot, I thought it was beautiful and very good crowd with cute restaurants. the only problem we encounter was the Tram is not working for the past 6 months and since Santa Tereza is up on the mountain with not easy road to get to, if we went to hang out somewhere Taxi drivers always gave us hard time to get us back to our hotel. some gave us bad attitude for even asking them to get paid to get us back to our hotel and some just over charged us. Other than this It was a true Amazing stay for us :)

"nice hotel in Santa Teresa"

10.0

We enjoyed our stay in Quinta Azul. Nice rooms and a very friendly staff, ready to inform you about Rio, taxis, city trips and so on. Found the location much nicer then Copacabana. Typical Brasilian area, safe and restaurants around. City center on walking distance around the Santa Teresa area. Metrostation Gloria is closeby and metro brings you quite fast to Copacabana. Would say: when you plan a visit to Rio go to Quinta Azul!

"A home away from home"

While the location is not ideal (as a tourist) they make up for it in comfort and service. They definitely make you feel at home! I would certainly stay there again

"Great new pousada"

8.0

Best location in Santa Teresa, fantastic decoration and helpful staff. The only downside is that there isn't breakfast included in the room rate through hotels.com (at time of stay), which is unheard of in pousadas in Brazil! Overall, a great new hotel and a good value for Rio hotels.
