The Quorn Lodge Hotel

On a cold winter's night the hotel was warm, welcoming, clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking. Good breakfast.

Always friendly. Very convenient for town centre.

The radiators were not working. I wasn't particularly cold,but would have liked the bathroom to be warmer.

No plug in sink so not able to have a wash in morning,bar only had cans nothing on draft,child sat in lounge with children programs on

Staff were very helpful, rooms clean nice little bar area and breakfast was good

Shower. Facilities a bit dated

Location is good. Good car park. Room in the eves was lovely. Breakfast was good.

Booked for my parents as they required emergency accommodation for two nights. Booed the Deluxe room. My parents were very unhappy with the standard of room and couldn't have a shoer - TV did not work etc.... Checked out the next morning. I then received a phone call from reception asking whether they would like a different room or a refund - so upset with the standard of room at the hotel they chose Refund. I was told I would get a call back later that day - as the card may need to be present, no call was received, I called to chase, again I was told the manager wasn't around yet but she would call me later - no one called. I called the next day to establish what was happening with the refund , to be told they would not be refunding me for the night my parents did not stay - even though they had offered this to me as a solution! We obviously had to rebook elsewhere based on the premise the night would be refunded - completely unacceptable
