The house is nice and the room was large and attractive with a good en-suite with bath and shower

The overall experience was very disappointing. I came on a Monday and there was no food. The bar was ‘open’ and I was able to buy a glass of wine, but some food - even crisps or a sandwich would have been welcome. The room was cold and I had to phone the reception to ask for the heating to be put on. There were tea and coffee facilities in the room but no cups so I drank my coffee from a flimsy plastic tumbler which was dangerous and didn’t feel right.

Great place to stay for 1-2 nights . Room was adequate for our stay , clean and tidy. Staff very polite and the all English breakfast was great value for money at just under £10, would certainly recommend.
