"BROKEN AIR CONDITIONER IN 2 ROOMS - NO RIGHT SOLUTION FROM NOVOTEL"

I have stayed in this hotel many many times when it was managed by Crowne management, but when I stay this June under Po Management the service was terrible Firstly, they didn't let me check in at 12.30 PM, I know the hotel rules, but the others hotel will always help you to check in earlier, especially if you are from out of town Secondly, I got room 849 with broken Aircon then moved to 811, with better Aircon but still in not good performance since in the morning the aircon getting hot I think this will be the last time i stay in Po Hotel as the aircon broken not only in one room and also Semarang got many better choice of hotel

Everything is perfect except only one thing

I have really uncomfortable thing !!!!! That is internet connection !!!!! I can not fully watch YouTube or Netflix bt my laptop. Wifi signal continously has drorpped so it is very difficult to watch any streaming. Even I have to access to my company web for working. Something is happened. I can not work because very low level of internet connection and internet speed. I didn't have any internet issue when I was in Jakarta and Borgor during similar times (I was in jakarta and borgor one week ago) If you have to do something with internet, I can not recommend this hotel. It is very very terribles

Food was good. Hospitaly was good, Kania was very kind and looked after me very well. Room was big enough and the spa was good. Very convenient close to mall and speciality food was good. One of the best central location in Semarang. Visit it and check out

Poor room conditions and staff were not trained for a 5-star hotel. The hotel refused to accommodate a date change while the hotel was almost empty ! Staff were not properly trained to treat customers professionally, and many struggled to speak basic English. Gym was in bad condition. Broken equipments, damaged floors and leaking roofs The experience was like a 3.5-star hotel.
