Misia Country Resort

We had an amazing stay at Misia. We arrived on the late side and were welcomed with a glass of wine and George allowed us to join in their amazing dinner of sea food and more of the incredible local wine. Misia is an amazing inn and resort with an aesthetic that is soothing and relaxing. It was a wonderful way for us to end our trip in Italy.

I only stayed overnight with a friend. The place is very beautiful and very nice rooms. The owners are fantastic as well as the cleaning staff. Helena and her brother own and run the resort and its very well put together and highly recommend it. Helena was very gracious to us during our stay and cant thank her enough for helping us when we needed it. Mind you its a bit outside of Orvieto In the countryside so its very much a getaway. Taxi could take 15 minutes to arrive or so to get to town from there. Bring some food and drink supplies if you just want some things in the room.

This is a beautiful restful exclusive hotel in a small settlement just outside Orvieto. There was not the expected spa or restaurant yet, which made the price a little high compared to my second choice nearby. However it was a very short drive to the restaurant at the nearby resort, and the meal was amazing. We enjoyed the serenity of Misia and slept so well in their comfortable beds. There is a switch for instant hot water. Just ask if your water happens to be cold

Our stay is the best we've ever experienced in Italy. During this specific trip we couldn't stop talking about how comfortable and beautiful Misia was. Also, Giorgio suggested such amazing day trips. Next year, when we come back to Italy, our plan is to stay at Misia for a week and just do day trips out according to Giorgio's recommendations. True cozy luxury

The staff was friendly and made everything possible to make us comfortable. The location "Roca Ripesena" is at the bottom of a Beautiful Rock in a small but beautiful villa. From there you have beautiful views of Orvieto. You can also walk up to the top of the rock in a few minutes and get a view of Valleys and nearby towns. Rooms are big and comfortable, great bathroom, etc. Breakfast is very good. If you want to go to a restaurant for dinner you can go to Orvieto ( 10 to 15 minutes away) or at to other restaurants near by.

We loved every minute of our stay. Giorgio is an amazing host and takes his time to take care of everyone. We relaxed, had an adventure and ate well. We can't wait to come back! -Scott & Jenny

We visited for a short stop between Rome and Manarola and wish we could have stayed longer! The owner of the hotel was incredibly accommodating- helping us look for car rental, taxi, and dinner reservations. We hope to be back soon!

This is a small inn located in the countryside outside Orvieto. One needs a car and it can be a little difficult to find. However, it is very peaceful and quiet once you get there. The host is very welcoming and our room was very spacious. There is a bar, but no restaurant, so you'll have to drive to a restaurant for dinner.

We had a wonderful stay. Our room was lovely and very comfortable. Orvieto is a fascinating town and we had two outstanding dinners in the area at the recommendation of Georgio from the Misia.

This was the last stop in our trip to Italy and my only regret was that we couldn't stay longer. In stark contrast to the older rooms we'd stayed in throughout Italy, these rooms were new, with modern amenities, and brightly decorated. And although I adore Italy, their beds and pillows are terribly hard. But not these! The bed, pillows and linens at Misia were by far the most comfortable of our entire trip. The hotelier was so friendly and helpful, too. We would absolutely go back!
