"Poor Value"

8.0

The room was so small with limited wardrobe space that we had to live out of our suitcase for our duration We paid £80 per night for this and it was only with half that I would not recommend this hotel given the charges

"Excellent"

Hotel was located in a quiet area right across from the beach & marina. Went all inclusive, there were plenty of drink and food options. Hotel staff were all welcoming and friendly. Pay for a sea view, it was worth it.

"Clean and comfortable hotel, go for sea view room"

10.0

Hotel was nice and clean, maids always working hard. The beds had memory foam matresses, best beds we've had on a holiday, well done! We had a room at the front with sea views, had chairs but could of done with a sunlounger. food was good, lots of choice, only critism was no fruit salad but fresh fruit was always available.

"Bland and Boring."

6.0

I'll be honest, I booked this hotel for a long weekend away and I wish I hadn't. We stayed on the all- inclusive basis but the food wasn't good enough. The choices are very similar everyday (non-descript fish in a sauce /pickles with everything / veal in a sauce / random yellow rice). The food is OK but gets extremely repetitive even after 3 nights. Breakfast wasn't our cup of tea, so only had that once and ate at the bakery around the corner. To order any all-inclusive drinks you have to stand in a small spot at the end of the bar, which I've never experienced in any all-inclusive resort in my life. Pool is extremely small, but the saving grace for the hotel is the location opposite the beach. That is it. Won't be staying at this hotel if visiting the Playa del Palma / Pan Castilla again. Go elsewhere along the beach, there's far nicer hotels available.I think the best thing I can say is it's all very mediocre and bland.

"An OK stay"

6.0

I've been to better places, I've been to worse. The hotel is beautifully positioned by the sea front, beach and marina. Las Arenas was wholly average, which for its star rating and the cost of the holiday was what I expected before arriving. The staff were mostly friendly and helpful, the room was well serviced and the hotel as a whole was clean and tidy. Not too many Brits there, mostly Germans but everyone was friendly. Only real disappointment for me was the pool, the photograph of it was cleverly done and makes it look much bigger, in truth it was very small and because of the time of the year and its position in the hotel, it only got sun in early afternoon, but again not a complaint, with the sun low due to the time of year I suppose in high summer it would see much more sun. Don't expect miracles here, I got what I expected from the money I paid and had a good relaxing few days in the sun.

"Great Stay"

10.0

Hotel was very nice, clean and well run. A little old fashioned but very spacious downstairs in the bar and lobby area. Right on the sea front so lovely views. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was a bit small and basic but clean and had everything we needed. Bath towels are very small and they don't have towels by pool so take your own beach towels. We did the fully inclusive and enjoyed the food and free drinks.

"Another great break at Las Arenas"

10.0

This was our second visit to Las Arenas and like the first time last October we had a great time and really loved our stay. The staff are always so friendly especially "most" of the bar staff who were constantly having a laugh with us. One however was always a bit miserable- must of been the heat lol. We arrived just after 10am and whilst booking in wasn't until 2pm we were offered storage for cases and by 12 we had our key. Lovely room over looking the beach and sea and without fail it was cleaned every day. Balcony no huge but ample for the two of us. We stayed all inclusive and whilst we didn't eat at the hotel on every mealtime there was certainly a lot of choice. The food in my opinion is not aimed towards the British way of life and on a couple of occasions we did work out and eat elsewhere but that was only because we had a taste for some steak which wasn't on the menu and in no way a dig at the quality or variation on offer. The closeness to the beach and views are excellent and many shops, bars and restaurants are on hand and a 15 euro 10 minutes by taxi from the airport is great to get your holiday started once you land. Will definitely be staying again very soon.

"Great location"

6.0

We had an ocean view room that had a large window we could open for the sea breeze! The room itself was satisfactory. There were some hairs on the floor when we walked in which was odd. Walls are also very thin. The food for dinner and breakfast had a lot of options but wasn't the tastiest. We went out for dinner even though it was already included.
