White Knight Hotel Intramuros

I was happy here, some slight street noise but nothing to be concerned about. Five minute walk to Manila Cathedral and Plaza de Roma, as well as heaps of places to eat. To get there I used a Grab taxi (like Uber). It was under 500 pesos to get from the airport to the hotel.

The AC is cold. There is also a small refrigerator inside the room plus an electric kettle. There were also tea cups, glasses and instant coffees. Bath robe, towels and toiletries were also provided.

No foot rug/floor mat nor slippers in the room. There was also no hair blower/dryer. The room was provided with glassware but there was no drinking water in the water bottle (we didn't ask for one anyway as we already brought drinking water before checking in). You would have to look for a decent parking spot near the hotel since they don't have any (we found one with overnight parking near La Cathedral Cafe).

A little bit old and needs some tlc

We booked a room because it's the nearest hotel to our friends' wedding venue. We arrived around 12:30 pm. When I asked the receptionist if we can check in early, she said we have to wait exactly for 2 pm bc the rooms aren't available yet. She didn't even bother asking me if I already booked a room online or just a walk-in. She didn't display an accommodating and welcoming expression. So, we sat & waited there in the sofa in front of her. 1 pm came and I told her that I booked online and asked her to check if it is recorded in their system bc I was thinking what if there is no room for us. Fortunately, they had it recorded. So I asked again if we can check-in atleast 1:30 or atleast 1:45, she said there are no availble rooms yet. So we sat & waited again. When the clocked turned 2 pm, I approached her again if we can now check-in. It was shocking bc she just called and confirmed if rooms are available. It was already past 2 pm. When she confirmed the room, she then handed me a paper to fill-out, w/c is very disappointing, knowing that we waited there for 2 hrs, she didn't think of giving it to us in advance. I think the management should invest in the staff, brief them the proper approach to the guests. It is not a good idea hiring someone who will ruin your business. Anyway, the room is fine, it is what I really expected. But the ambiance is just different from the pictures online.

You get what you pay for!! The price is good with a great surroundings of museum, church, fort and parks near by Walking distance to restaurants. But our room needed much TLC. No water in the room, no toilet paper, sink was leaking and the floor was soaking wet....thank goodness it was just 1 night.
