Hotel Icefiord

Das Hotelzimmer mit Blick auf die Bucht hingegen war tipptopp.

Das Appartement war eine Katastrophe. Das Bett ist viel zu klein und viel zu weich. Das Bad alt und unmodern. Überhaupt keine Abwechslung beim Frühstück. Eier, Speck und Würstchen war nur lauwarm.

Super schönes Hotel, fantastische Lage, das Restaurant bist sehr gut.

Das Personal ist wirklich nicht auf Zack; wir mussten im Restaurant teilweise länger warten

You can see whales swimming close by while having drinks at the bar. Great food, the breakfast is awesome. The dinner selection is limited as anywhere else in a town in Greenland, but the food is very tasty and you can feel that it was made from local high quality ingredients. Friendly young staff, helpful and informative.

This place is a paradise on earth. Great for relaxation, walks, iceberg and whale watching. There is a superb panoramic terrace, which is accessible 24 hours a day and you can feel the incredible atmosphere of the summer white nights, suitable for eating, drinking drinks or just contemplating the icebergs and the fjord. The breakfast is superb and authentic and includes great offers. The transfers to and from the airport are hassle-free. The restaurant is superb, although with a very limited menu and offers local specialties, which we had not tried anywhere else. The team is uniquely kind and helpful! We are charmed!

There is no fridge in the room, but the opening window does the same job, even in the summer :)

Excellent stay - lovely staff, fantastic food in the restaurant for a dinner and enjoyed the breakfast every day. A bit of a walk to get to other things but that kept it quiet, and the view from the deck is amazing!
