Hotel Icefiord

Super bien situé, on voit les baleines depuis le balcon ! La chambre est super confortable et bien décorée. La vue sur la mer depuis la chambre est formidable.

Le personnel n’est clairement pas formé à l’hôtellerie. Ce sont des jeunes sympas mais pas compétents. L’accueil est sommaire, ainsi que les échanges. Nous nous sommes mariés pendant notre séjour et l’hôtel n’a eu aucune attention ni même un mot gentil (même en nous voyant en tenues de mariés !). Le personnel ne communique pas et ne retient aucune demande. Nous avions réservé un taxi sur booking mais personne n’était au courant en arrivant. Idem pour le service de repassage qui nous avait été proposé et qui finalement n’était pas disponible. Le restaurant est hors de prix et la cuisine basique. J’ai payé 40€ un crabe à dépiauter moi-même avec une sauce aioli… un peu limite.

Staying here was an amazing experience. Everything, from the iceberg view from the balcony, via the vintage atmosphere, to the food and the dining room/balcony, was awesome. They even have a "harbor" for the boat that goes to the Eqi Glacier. The team was friendly and helpful. If we ever return to Ilulisat, we will stay here again!

Nothing. But it is important to know that the hotel is relatively remote from the city center, and the walk is on the roadside. Taxis are easily available if necessary.

Amazing staff and outstanding view. The restaurant was some of the best food I’ve eaten as well.
