Lovely Break fast

we did not get the breakfast as we advised the hotel that we needed breakfast at 7.30 as we needed to be in melton for a bowls commpetion at 8.45 so they advised us that the buffet breakfast would be all laid out for us at 7.30 but when we arrived for breakfast the doors were all locked we waited until 7.45 after ringinng the reception bell a number of time. there was also another 4 people expecting to eat at the same time as us. not good at all as we had to buy breakfast when we should have had it in the price we had paid.

above comments should have been typed here sorry also whilst having a meal here we were double charged for drinks which after pointing this out they were removed . Hotel itself is fine but doubt we would stay here again as catering side of business is not good

The pub is beautiful as are all the rooms. The staff were fantastic, so friendly, really took the time with each customer. Fantastic food. Highly recommend 👌🏻

Absolutely nothing

Breakfast was ok. Continental could have been better. Evening meal was good. Staff were very helpful.

Room 4. Smell of decorating? Cold on arrival. Bathroom very dusty from work been done? Toilet seat dirty and not soft close. Mattress rock hard.

Nice clean rooms in a good location for us.

It was a lovely building set on the village green. The inside was beautifully clean, with subtle lighting in the bar area but brighter in the restaurant. It was obviously a very popular local pub

One tiny criticism, it says on booking.com that breakfast is included. What it doesn’t say is that it is only a continental breakfast. We ended up paying a further £25 on top for a cooked breakfast. That said it was an excellent breakfast and was worth the extra!
