Parking a little limited but that’s because of village location

Great stay - very comfortable & good food

Restaurant good, portions big, friendly staff. Room clean enough, plenty of towels and good selection of toiletries.

Breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. Continental or cooked breakfast for additional charge. The continental would be fine if there was a bit of variation but it’s the absolute bare minimum (bit of bread, some yoghurts, minimal pastries or cereal option). I just had a coffee & juice - Couldn’t find any sugar for coffee either. Would suggest that breakfast includes hot/cooked food as standard and you increase brekkie rate if needs be.

From start to finish the staff was extremely helpful and friendly I’d highly recommend people from all walks of life to stay at the star Inn

Bedside lights were broken along with the box covering the room's consumer unit. The mattress was poor, I sat down and felt the base unit underneath. I booked fairly last minute and saw the booking included breakfast. Once I looked into the booking I found out it was a continental breakfast, a bit disappointing. Restaurant food was ok but not the best, I had the belly pork with black pudding. The black pudding was so thin it was pointless putting it on. The pork belly was a great potion size, but the fat wasn't rendered therefore over power the rest. I ordered some triple crooked chips, just tasted like refried day old chips, hard and bitter. Should be fluffy and crispy, I couldn't eat them. Cheesecake was ok
