Westhill Country Hotel

Great central location, with a family friendly atmosphere. We had a family room overlooking the pool, which was very comfortable, a nicely presented room, very clean and nice and quiet. It’s definitely a hotel we would happily stay in again.

I have recently returned from my stay at this delightful hotel. I was last in Jersey in 1994, with my husband and sons. This time I was a solo traveller. I chose this hotel as I liked the fact it was a short distance from town, and set in lovely grounds. It did not disappoint. My single room was quite small, but very clean and comfortable. The food was of a high standard and had a varied menu. The bus to town was a great asset. The staff truly make this hotel a great place to stay. Everyone, without exception, was friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. I have to give a big shout out to Annette, who was so kind and caring when I had a fall. She took time to ensure I was ok. She went above and beyond. It is no wonder people return to this hotel year after year. Thanks to everyone. If I return to Jersey I would not hesitate to stay at Westhill Country Hotel again.

Set in fabulous gardens with first class dining and friendly vibe. Shout out to Annette for her care and kindness when needed. We will return 🥰

This is a very friendly hotel. We met fellow visitors who were regulars and had stayed at the hotel several times. The daily hotel bus is a real bonus. Unfortunately my friend became very poorly (we think she caught an infection on the plane journey.) The hotel management couldn't have been more helpful and caring, running us straight away to the hospital. My friend had to stay in for several days. Annette from the hotel enquired daily after my friends health and offered free transport to and from the hospital. Luckily my friend was able to get back to the hotel on the day before we returned home. The hotel management allowed us to stay in our rooms six hours after the usual vacating time, which was such a help. This is a very caring hotel, the food is delicious also and the grounds beautiful We will be returning. Thank you to all the hotel staff, especially Annette.

I booked this Hotel for my Great North Coast walk, In September 2025, Annette couldn't have been any more helpful from my booking via a phone call, my arrival until my departure. Exceptional stay with my family, night entertainment was excellent, especially the rock n roll show" I loved the pool, & my mother enjoyed the peace and comfort of the rooms. Friendly staff, outdoor swimming pool and jacuzzi area in a quiet secluded area surrounded by lawn and trees. Good choice of food in restaurant and bar. Courtesy bus into St. Helier very useful. Entertainment in the evening.a bonus. Altogether a very enjoyable stay. Would happily book Westhill again.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. However the only downside was the flies in the room when we arrived. There was approximately 40 little black flies on the wall which my husband had to get rid of before I would agree to stay in the room. The room was on the ground floor and the window was open and also it was next to the garden. I did tell reception and they said they would look into which they did. However they were constantly getting in., I don’t know how as we kept the window closed. It was really annoying. Other than the flies we had a lovely stay.

I stayed here last week for the first time, in fact it was my first time to Jersey, and I'll definitely be back. I'm hoping to book and go again next year to Westhill. The hotel was pristine clean, and the staff were friendly and super helpful. My board basis was bed and breakfast, and the food and service in the restaurant was the best. The waiters were polite and very efficient, and the food was delicious. I ate in the bar a couple of nights and that was really nice too. The gardens are lovely, and peaceful also. The setting of the hotel was exactly what I wanted. I enjoy peace and quiet, and being just on the edge of St Helier, it was ideal. Also the courtesy bus that ran on a morning was very useful, although I did walk into town a number of mornings as it's a nice downhill walk. I only walked back once, mostly uphill, but there is an excellent bus service around the island, so it was never a problem getting back. It really is a wonderful hotel and I can't fault it. I'll definitely stay here again, it's a little gem.

We have just returned from a fantastic week staying at the Westhill Hotel, this was to celebrate a slightly belated 50th wedding anniversary. Our first visit was in 1975 for our honeymoon then again in 2000 for our 25th anniversary. Although there have been some upgrades to the hotel it was just like returning to the same hotel as every thing felt so familiar, and the very warm welcome from all staff was second to none they are a credit to the hotel everyone of them. This is not a cold corporate style hotel but a family run one with a homely traditional feel to it which may not suit everyone but it suits us down to the ground. Thank you to all staff for making our stay special .

Very tired - was very disappointed in the decor and the feeling of the whole hotel. Nothing to complain of specifically but it needs a makeover
