Lovely gardens and pool

2 years in a row we have been to this great hotel and it never fails to disappoint.As always staff and management are so friendly and helpful big shoutout to Fred Vincent and Felix behind the bar who work exceptionally hard behind the bar.Service in the restaurant is amazing with Nello and his staff and we don't forget Arche who puts a smile on our face everytime see you next year

Wonderfully set among rolling fields and yet on the outskirts of St Helier Extremely good access to the main shopping district by an excellent daily hotel shuttle bus service Key to its success is that it is not only a family owned business but they are on site daily to support the staff and be there for the guests. Very friendly and guest focused staff - high quality service managed by the family

Lovely stay for 5 nights with my elderly parents. We had superior ground floor rooms and they were comfortable and a good size. My dad has mobility issues but managed fine with few steps to bedroom, dining room, gardens and bar. The outside pool area is highlight of hotel, stunning. We stayed B&B & dinner and all the food was delicious and plentiful. Helpful attentive service too. A special mention to Annette who was so helpful with the booking process so I was sure my parents would be comfortable and manage to get about ok. We hired a car so didn’t use shuttle bus, but saw it often and it seemed an efficient service into St Hellier. A special family holiday and we’d love to return to West Country hotel.

Westhill hotel for me, had good and bad points for me. Arrived and had to lump luggage up 3 flights of stairs on a busy Bank Holiday weekend. Upon reaching our room on the surface looked fine but after being there a few minutes noticed how small everything was. The room, bathroom and bed. Upon closer inspection noticed no handrail in shower. For me, having a disability had to wash at sink. The toilet was stuck behind the door making it very awkward to use. In fact the bathroom had seen better days. A list of fails in the room included, polystyrene tiles on ceiling, no alarm in use, stains on carpet and walls and a badly chipped cup. No air conditioning or a fridge either. Walls are paper thin and you get a lot of banging doors and sound. First night we chose something from the bar menu, fish and chips and steak in a baguette. Well it was a fish fillet and frozen chips and the steak was processed meat. 18 pounds each! The breakfasts were good. It's best feature is the pool and outdoor gardens, but it really needs renovation. A lift would be great.

Amazing stay, friendly staff, beautiful rooms (well above 3*) and great facilities. Location perfect to escape St Helier, also close to dive in for visits. Breakfasts were 1st class and thoroughly enjoyed evening meals when there. Strongly recommend this hotel and will return asap. Thank you Jonathan and team . Well done

The hotel itself is lovely, with beautiful gardens and a peaceful atmosphere that’s perfect for unwinding. But what really sets it apart is the personal touch. John and Max Smale, the family owners, clearly know how to look after both their guests and their staff – and it shows. The whole team works together seamlessly, and nothing is ever too much trouble. If you’re looking for a hotel that combines comfort, charm, and outstanding service with a truly personal feel, the Westhill is it. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!
