Westhill Country Hotel

Amazing day with friends at the weekend BBQ. Lots of choice for food, drinks not too pricey and attentive and pleasant staff. Good atmosphere everytime we are going there. Very lucky to have such a wonderful hotel in Jersey, with swimming pool, open for non- residents. Great value for money.

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at the Westhill. I doubt there is hotel in Jersey with such beautiful gardens and pool area, with red squirrels thrown in to add to the charm. Our room was large and comfortable with a view of the pool. The food is good and plentiful. But what really makes a trip to the Westhill so special are all the staff. Starting with John and Max who run the hotel ably assisted by Marek, Annette and Lisa on reception and Nello and the staff in the restaurant. Nothing is too much trouble. For our 7 year old grandson it was paradise by the pool, and our 12 year old loves it there. I thoroughly recommend the hotel to families. Thanks again John and Max and all for a great holiday.

First of all the staff was kind friendly and always there when you need something the food was amazing it has a beautiful garden and 2 pools and hot tubes wish I could've stayed longer me and the husband will be definitely be back next year

Just returned, had a great time in Jersey, all the better because of our stay here. Excellent food, hotel very clean, food really was great. Staff so helpful and friendly, from reception to restaurant. Comfortable bed and added bonus of daily free bus to St Helier town centre, at Libert bus station.

My friend and I went for dinner at the West Hill as I saw a deal on Quidsin and I had never been to the West Hill. When we arrived we were warmly greeted by the Reception staff and directed to the bar and the pool area. As it was a lovely evening we sat by the pool with our gin and tonics and enjoyed the atmosphere. There were lots of young families still enjoying the pool area before the sun went down. We had a brief walk around the garden areas and enjoyed seeing the beautiful avery with a variety of birds. Our dinner was lovely. The food was delicious and the staff serving us were warm and welcoming. After dinner we went into the room where they have live music and dancing. The girl singing was very good and had people up dancing. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and we plan to do an afternoon by the pool with a sandwich for £23. We just need to order good weather for that day. 😁

This is a brilliant hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the hotel itself is very nice and peaceful. The breakfast is good too.

Fabulous hotel, staff are courteous and happy to help if you need it. Breakfast was a buffet and could order hot food as well. A three course dinner available every night or could also have a meal from the bar at extra cost. Room was clean and tidy and had toiletries and tea/coffee supplied. The garden and surrounding area was lovely to walk round. The pool are hot tubs were very clean and area tidy. I can thoroughly recommend this to stay in, its also has a courtesy bus in the morning which takes you to St. Helier. Great place. Thank you.

Another excellent holiday at the Westhill which is why we have been returning for the past 22 years. Great food and friendly staff. Pity Sandy is no longer entertaining but Annette makes up for it with her great singing performance each week. Look forward to returning next year all being well.

This hotel sits around 25-30 minutes walk from St Helier or a 10-15 minute bus journey. It is downhill into St Helier but a a fairly steep walk back so we took the bus which if you purchase a multi day ticket from Liberty is pretty cost effective. Just a note, tge hotel provides information on Bus number 19 which finishes running at 7.30pm but the number 5 or 5A carries on untill 10.25pm There is a complimentary shuttle bus that departs in the morning at around 10.00am but you have to walk back or take the frequent bus which drops you off around 5 minutes from the hotel. I would say the very friendly staff are the biggest plus here. On day one I asked for marmite with my breakfast which they did not have. Next day there was a brand new jar for me! Great service👍🏽😀 The extensive grounds and large heated pool are a stand out feature . Breakfasts are served to the table and are delicious with plenty of choice to keep you interested. The rooms are reasonably large and have tea and coffee making facilities. We stayed at the front which is the opposite side to the pool and garden. It was quiet untill around 6.00am when a delivery driver woke us both up but it has the benefit of being in the shade from mid day onwards. Overall I would not hesitate to recommend this super friendly hotel.
