The staff at Whale are really nice - not too professional, just genuine. They remember my coffee preferences, my kayaking hours, and my birthday.

The seawater here is crystal clear, perfect for kayaking or swimming. You absolutely must go trekking around the island, explore the primeval forest, and enjoy the stunning view of Van Phong Bay from the top.

Wunderschönes kleines Resort auf einer einsamen Insel. Der Stand und die Anlage des Hotels sind sauber und gepflegt, es wird viel wert suf Nachhaltigkeit gelegt. Der Rest der Insel ist über 2 Trekking Pfade erreichbar, hier sieht die Lage leider ganz anders aus. Hier ist sehr viel Müll und man sieht um sich herum überall industriell betriebenen Fischfang. Dennoch ist das Resort eine wahre Perle, kayaks/Schnorchel/ Segelboot sind zum leihen vor Ort. Das Restaurant ist gut, mit 10-12€ für Dinner/lunch fair. Die Massage auch war auch gut. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Transport von Nha Trang/ Tuy Hoa kann vom Hotel organisiert werden (500.000 Dong / Fahrt pP).

Whale Island Resort has a small corner for sorting trash: bottles, paper, cans. Nothing fancy – just a few labeled bins and some care. But it says a lot. You feel secure knowing your vacation won’t leave any “traces” behind.

Belle île, les bungalows sont très confortables et le personnel est absolument charmant. La nourriture est de qualité quoiqu'elle mériterait d'être un peu plus variée.

Impossible de dormir à partir de 4 heures du matin. Entre les bateaux qui rentrent de la pêche de nuit et ceux qui partent tôt, l'environnement sonore ne permet pas de dormir entre 4h et 7h du matin. En dehors de ces horaires, l'hôtel est très calme. C'est vraiment dommage car l'endroit semble idyllique quand on arrive.
