My perfect day at Whale Island Resort? A morning swim, a simple lunch, a nap in the hammock, then kayaking until sunset. Nothing rushed, nothing forced - just living.

I admire how Whale Island Resort tries to live lightly - recycling corners, no plastic bags. It’s simple, humble, and somehow inspiring.

I liked everything, it is a nice little paradise. Walk a few meters from the bungalow into the water to snorkle. Food was good, staff was friendly.

The noise from the night fishing boats, not their fault and you get used to it after the first night. Should have stayed longer 😂

Ce que j’ai le plus apprécié au Whale Island Resort, c’est son approche écologique qui paraît totalement naturelle. Pas de slogans, pas d’imposition – juste de petites actions simples : énergie solaire, paniers en bambou, pas de bouteilles en plastique. Tout cela semble authentique, exactement comme devrait l’être la vie au plus près de la nature.

Joli resort très isolé. Les bungalows sont très agréables. Personnel efficace et sympathique.

Pas d’eau chaude dans la douche. Les tarifs sont un peu prohibitifs au regard des prestations offertes. La même chose en Indonésie coûterait la moitié du prix. Le centre de plongée ne fonctionne que sur rendez-vous et pratique des tarifs astronomiques pour des sites peu réputés pour la qualité des fonds sous-marins.

Whale Island felt more like a small seaside village than a resort. Everyone was welcoming, the meals were well-prepared, and by the third day, I felt like I belonged here.

I came to Whale for two nights and stayed six. No emails, no clocks, no stress. Just the sea, good food, and people smiling for real.

Lovely location with friendly staff. Perfect place to unwind after being on the go for 3 weeks
