I appreciated how Whale Island Resort genuinely cares about sustainability. Solar energy powers the bungalows, staff use baskets instead of plastic bags, and there’s a small station for sorting waste. I even joined them one morning to tidy the beach and felt like a small part of protecting this paradise. The local food is delicious - fresh fish, organic vegetables, and fruit picked from the small garden. Everything feels authentic, not staged.

Nous avons traversé la forêt de l’île de la Baleine à pied et découvert une nature préservée : des papillons, des oiseaux et des arbres centenaires. Nous étions trempés de sueur, mais chaque pas en valait la peine.

Le Whale Island Resort possède certains des plus beaux sites de snorkeling que j’ai vus au Vietnam. Des poissons colorés partout ! Mieux encore, le récif est bien protégé et respecté.

Il n’y a pas de Wi-Fi dans les chambres du Whale, ce qui m’a d’abord un peu agacé… jusqu’à ce que je réalise que j’avais passé une heure simplement à écouter la mer. C’est ça, une vraie connexion.

I really liked how Whale uses bamboo baskets instead of plastic and solar power instead of generators. But what I remember most are the warm welcomes, the family dinners, and the feeling that the island welcomes you like an old friend.

Whale Island Resort is so clean that there's no litter, no noisy engines, only pure nature. Every morning I see the staff diligently picking up trash from the sea. Staying here has helped my mind relax in ways I never expected..

A 2 stars resort with over expected facilities, super beautiful seaview, best fit for kayaking & snorkeling. Big bed, big room. Friendly staffs.

The bathroom floor with cement & pebble leads to poor drainage. Hot water system is super weak at night & early morning. Room with no air conditioner therefore it would be very hot during summer (especially as it's central vietnam area, the summer is super hot). No wifi in the resort to bring back ppl to real life. But there are not many physical activities on field. For me to stay here for 2 days is very boring. No seafood available in the menu. Guest needs to ask the restaurant manager 1 day in advance to ask for specific dishes (the restaurant will not actively approach you to offer such kind of extra service except you ask for it yourself)
