Le cadre était idyllique. Le personnel était aux petits soins avec nous. Nous avons pu profiter de la plage durant l'entièreté de notre séjour ainsi que des activités proposées. Nous avions pris la pension complète et cela a été sans regrets. Nous avons eu l'occasion de manger varié et de découvrir de nouvelles saveurs.

The bungalow surprised me - every piece of furniture had a story. Staff told us that tables, chairs, and even frames were made from old boat wood. I felt like I was sleeping in a room that respected both history and nature. Large windows opened to the sea, and I could hear waves at night. The combination of comfort, creativity, and sustainability was refreshing.

I was pleasantly surprised when I entered our bungalow. The furniture - tables, chairs, even the bed frame - were crafted from reclaimed wood from old boats. The resort staff explained this, and it made me appreciate the thoughtfulness and sustainability behind every detail. The room smelled faintly of wood and sea, with large windows letting in natural light and ocean breeze. Cozy, eco-friendly, and truly unique.

After a 90-minute drive from Nha Trang, we reached the small pier where a motorboat awaited us to take us to resort. The ride was bumpy at first, but once we saw the turquoise water and cliffs, all fatigue vanished. The island felt completely separate from the world - no traffic, no honking, just sea and sky. Walking along the beach in the morning, I saw tiny crabs and heard the distant call of seabirds. Staying in the wooden bungalow, listening to waves at night, I finally felt what “island life” truly means.

I spent the morning trekking through Whale Island’s forest trails, discovering hidden viewpoints overlooking the sea. The sun filtered through the trees, and the bath was alive with birdsong. After returning, I booked a massage at the resort spa - the aromatherapy and skilled hands melted away every trace of fatigue. Ending the day with a sunset drink on the deck made me feel completely pampered and connected to the island.

The road to the island is a little long, but it's completely worth the effort. Ong Island is beautiful, with crystal-clear blue water, giving a feeling of complete isolation from the hustle and bustle of Nha Trang.

I joined the cooking class at Whale Island Resort and it was one of my favorite experiences. The chef showed us how to prepare local seafood dishes, from cleaning fish to balancing flavors with fresh herbs. I loved chopping lemongrass and tasting sauces straight from the mortar. It wasn’t just about cooking - it was about understanding the local culture and ingredients. By the end, we shared the meal we had prepared together. A true hands-on memory I’ll keep forever.
