Whale Island Resort offers a perfect mix of activities and relaxation. I kayaked in the morning along calm coves, snorkeled over vibrant coral reefs, and walked through the forest trails in the afternoon. The resort canoed us to a nearby fishing village, where we watched locals netting fish and bought fresh vegetables at a small market. Returning to the bungalow to enjoy a homemade seafood dinner while the sun set was unforgettable. Staff were friendly, sometimes struggling with English, but always smiling.

I felt completely disconnected from the modern world when I arrived on the island. I spent the afternoon snorkeling to see colorful fish, and an hour hiking through the primeval forest – butterflies and birds were everywhere. We also had the chance to visit a nearby local fishing village, where the seafood was delicious and the people were genuine. Even without Wi-Fi in the bungalow, I never felt disconnected from life – just a stress escape.

The bungalows are small and simple, but clean and commfortable. The staff are incredibly friendly, and every day feels like a relaxing, happy vacation.

No noise, no rush, just me and the morning light. That morning stayed with me for the whole week - it was simple, but perfect.
