Celeste Mountain Lodge

Great hotel with beautiful views. The grounds attract the most stunning birds and just sitting and enjoying their calls was heavenly. The meals were out of this world. Full of flavor. The staff is kind and friendly. Will go again without question.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Lodge. The place is so unique that staying there is an attraction in itself. We stayed 2 nights while visiting Rio Celeste and just loved the gardens, view from the dinning room, and of course the food-which was the highlight of our stay. Even my picky teenage son loved that food. 3-course dinner 25$, lunch 15$ and breakfast was included in our room rate. Small but very comfortable and well designed rooms, great bathrooms and I loved that it was all eco-friendly and upcycled. Great wifi. There is even shoe washing station outside so you can clean your very muddy shoes from Celeste hike. I would definitely stay there again, and will recommend it to anyone.

This is a unique place to stay. From the unique architecture to a spectacular location, excellent private area in the tropical forest for trekking, and exceptional customized dining arrangement will make a stay at this place a memorable one.

The family who owns and runs the lodge are lovely and made for an excellent stay! The views from the rooms are incredible and there is a great trail less than 100 meters from the property. Lots of wildlife in site and very close to The Tenorio Volcano National Park. Breakfast and dinner were delishious and they made accomodations for my food allergies. The rooms were a good size and had interesting furniture. The place itself was very eco-friendly.

Absolutely gorgeous property very close to Rio Celeste. We enjoyed exploring the grounds and gazing at the awe inspiring views all around us. The $25 dinner and free hot breakfast were incredible. The service was friendly and accommodating. The room was very small for three of us. The beds were very firm and the bedding was a bit scratchy. Nice, hot water in the shower but no hot water in the sink located outside of the bathroom. Overall, the incredibly gorgeous property made up for the room.

It's near rio celeste waterfalls and water tubing with onca tours. Definitely worth the drive and stay.
