The location is perfect is you plan to visit Rio Celeste! The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, the hotel is quiet, good complementary breakfast! Definitely recommend and I would stay again!

The property must be seen to be believed, you must look through the photo book as to how the place was created. The rest of the world should look at the innovative use of recycled materials of all kinds that went into the construction and fixtures. Our host Joel is the best, his personal introduction of the meal that you are about to eat is fantastic. The meal itself is more than worthy of a Michelin Star for FINE DINING. It was without a doubt the best meal I had eaten in Costa Rica - easily worthy of any fancy restaurant else where

There are so many qualities to love about the Celeste Mountain Inn. Joel and all of the staff were so incredibly hospitable, kind, helpful, and truly cared about making this lodge feel like home. We did the full-board option, and my goodness it was the most amazing food we received on our trip. I love the environmental practices this lodge oversees, and it was a pleasure getting to speak with Joel and flip through the book regarding the building of Celeste Mountain Lodge. This was so conveniently located to Rio Celeste Waterfall and Biajagua. One suggestion I would have is to replace the shower curtain with another sustainable option; when you're showering this one tends to want to let water out and also blow in and stick on you. One other bit to be mindful of are the local beetles that sometimes like to find their way into the room if the door is left open too long. Regardless of both of these last bits, staying at Celeste Mountain Lodge was a highlight of our two-week stay across five cities in Costa Rica and I would encourage everyone to choose this city and this lodge during their time in Costa Rica. It truly is a gem.

The Celeste Mountain Lodge is basically as advertised, a lodge nestled in the mountains - a 10 minute drive to the Rio Celeste trail. The lodge itself is run by a friendly family who are very welcoming and accommodating. The rooms are basic (no TV, etc - this is a good thing!), but very clean and stylish. The food served is fantastic and, much more akin to staying with a family than a regular hotel - easily the beat breakfast we had in this country. Overall, as long as you understand that the lodge is more simple than others and focuses on quality and tranquility, you’ll have a great experience!

The Lodge is fine, but there is no TV. Internet doesn't work in the room, just in the social area. You can not choose your meal, you just get what you get. But overall is OK.

The owner speaks English, French and Spanish. Very helpful to see differents activities. We can take a good lunch and a good dinner as well. An awesome view of Tenorio Mountain. I recommand.

Unique location with amazing view of 2 volcanos, staff and owner were very welcoming, service was perfect . We recommend the lodge especially if you want to visit Rio Celeste Tenorio National Park.
