Racha Island Resort

신행이 아니라 더라차는 부담스럽고, 더라차를 제외하고 가장 괜찮은 라야부리를 선택했어요. 가장 불만스러웠던 점은 제대로된 설명도 없이 들어가고 나오는 보트시간이 제대로 지켜지지 않아 한시간 이상 기다려야 했답니다. 욕실 물은 수압이 낮더라구요. 하지만 좋았던 점은 라야부리 바로 앞 해변이 한가로워서 휴식하기에 좋았습니다. 더라차 앞 해변은 사람이 정말 많아 북적이거든요.

Vi hade ett deluxe rum med utgång till poolen. Vi skulle bo där i 4 nätter, men lämnade efter bara 2. Luktade illa i rummet när man kom tillbaka efter stranden. Städningen var under all kritik, rummet var dessutom väldigt slitet. Frukosten var ingen höjdare heller, för att inte nämna om hygienen. De var bara tur att vi inte blev kassa.

Worst hotel experience ever. Bathroom was broken and hotel management didn't solved, when we returned to the room and expected the problem is addressed, no one available at reception anymore. Room smelt terrible the hole night. Only reception staff speaks Enlish, all other staff limited Enlish knowledge (and neither fluent in Thai as not local staff). Management didn't cared about our complaint, we had to insist over 3 hours to speak to management! Described as new resort, but bit in the days and not good maintained. Island is of course nice, but make a day trip or go to another hotel. This hotel is first of all expensive, but even if it would be cheap it wouldn't worth it to stay there. For the transfer, confirm that you have space before booking - we had to pay a private transfer (and arrange it ourselves) for 2400 THB. Very disappointed. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

swiming pool is very clean. Free speetboat .Nice luggage arragement.

Just only 40 mins away from Phuket by speed boat. close to another beach. breakfast and dinner by the beach. very nice. good location.

Speed boat transfer was a pain on a cloudy day. We were all wet when we got to the front desk at 11 and were told early check in was not available. Beach is very nice.

Relaxing and comfortable

We stayed one night at the hotel in April 2013. When we arrived with a very tired speedboat trip from Phuket to Racha/Raya Island, we wanted to use bathroom at the reception, but they don't have one, we had to pay 10 bah for each use of a bathroom at the resort near the reception. The checking process is not bad, but we had to wait until 2 PM(we arrived at 10am, as the speedboats going to Racha island only offers the early morning trip). While we waited at the beautiful beach, the reception staff tried to sell us a dinner by trick. We knew that the restaurant at the resort is expensive and tastes bad, so we didn't book the dinner. The next day, we chose to buy a one way speedboat ticket from the resort to back to Phuket, it costs us 750 bah each person, and was told that it include a taxi to our next hotel in Kata beach of Phuket, but later they charged us 500 bah for about 10 minutes from Chalong Bay pier to Kata beach. Definitely not recommend for anybody. The resort is the poorest resort I ever stay, although many of the staff are nice, but not very helpful. The swimming pool is quite good, the beach is really beautiful. No fresh water to drink, you have to buy a bottle of water for 60 bah from them.
