Bohol Sea Resort

The resort was very cute with a lovely pool on site. The hotel restaurant was ok food and similar price to the other places. There is nothing super close by so during our 2 day 2 night stay we felt a bit stuck. It’s about a 15 minute walk to Alona Beach area which isn’t too bad but at night gets very dark to be walking. I would recommend getting driven back to the resort in the dark. The resort also has happy hour and was very helpful in booking information for us. The AC and bed were reasonable and the room had a nice little patio out front as well. I would stay again.

Bohol Sea Resort was great, amazing pool, delicious restaurant, we had amazing massages in our room and it was overall a great experience. The staff took such good care of us, laundry service was excellent, housekeeping was great. We wish we had more time to go diving as the team seems very knowledgeable but we explored local beaches and the island instead. Great stay!!

5 stars for service. ALL the staff are friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed my stay. Hopefully next time they would offer a free shuttle to Alona Beach. Highly recommended resort.

We stayed a few nights and liked it. The staff is very nice, good pool, plenty of snorkeling and scuba options right from the hotel. Next time I will wear a full wetsuit though since the jellyfish were out in full force. The bathroom left a bit to be desired but for the price point it was fine. The room is quite small for 2 people but totally manageable. Alona is only a 50 peso trike away but I think I preferred staying here because Alona is quite crowded. The hotel's beach is not for swimming and has a fair amount of litter scattered about. But again there are other beaches within a 10 min walk or $1USD trike ride. Security was mindful of people coming and going and I felt me and my belongings were quite safe. Thanks!

Pillow killed my neck for the next few days. Food options are fairly limited and you are a good 20-30mins away from alona beach. Nice resort, but not really a beach resort as its full of boats and not much sand to lie in. Stayed here for 2 nights, then we moved somewhere else.

Staff was very friendly. Grounds were well manicured. The shower is quite small and the bed was terrible. Overall the hotel is worth the cost.

My boyfriend and I loved Bohol Sea Resort and the view you get during sunset. We were greated with a dink upon arrival. The beach is not for swimming, just for relaxing and enjoying the view and fresh air, or having a massage when it;s a bit windy. 12min walk to Alona, or just take the tricycle, there are many passing by. We didn't try the restaurant here, but the room was well decorated, it had hot water and complimentary toiletries, Ac and fan. the TV was working well (in Cebu was terrible). They also offer complimentary bottles of water daily. They clean your room daily and eveyone is very friendly and helpful.

Good Filipino food, good facilities, super nice and friendly staff, located very close to Alona Beach, but a very quiet resort area. We enjoyed our stay very much. (and as per other reviews, dont expect much from the beach from hotel, but you can see a lot of sea urchins during low tides)

Hotel was nice and quiet, friendly staff. Only downside was outside the hotel was too much harassing to be sold something in the local area. People weren't as friendly upon leaving the hotel.
