Staff was great , room was good Nice pool , beach had bad seaweed issue BUT Use of the South Palms Beach was a Panglao highlight

Booked at short notice on the basis of good reviews. Was very happy with the location, helpful staff and quality food.

Th hotel is really nice. Rooms are spacious and the restaurant is pretty good. The pool is nice and you have a direct access to the beach. Keep in mind that Danao beach is not maintained and that the water is very shallow. you will have to walk far until you can have your knees into water. Only this hotel pushes the branches and trash that come to shore. You will not be able to walk along the beach as it is full of garbage. Be aware that you will need to get a tricycle to get to town as it is not walking distance. Their hammock were awesome. Overall this place is very quiet and would suit those who want to be away from town and just rest.

The resort staff are top-notch in regard to service and making you comfortable. The food was exceptional. A great laid-back place to get away.

Didn't enjoy my stay here. Room was small and had a claustrophobic feel with bathroom wall enclosing your bed. The air con unit is directly above your head meaning that your absolutely freezing or roasting during the night. Shower had zero hot water. Staff on the most part were friendly, smiled and said hello. However when you actually asked them to do something that's when the smiles faded. I decided to try the restaurant for their lunch menu one afternoon. No other customers around, just me. I had to approach them for a menu, sat waiting at pool lounger with menu down for 15 minutes and not one member of staff came over to attend. Bearing in mind that I was in full view, in an empty restaurant is terrible customer service. I took the menu back for them and went into the town to eat elsewhere. On that note, Panglao beach is a good 15 minute walk away along dark busy roads. This is a good or bad thing for some as you're away from the nightlife of alona. But with tricycles costing 100 pesos it was inconvenient for me. The management 'apologised' for the lack of service by typing out a lousy apology and sending a housekeeping girl (lovely person) to do the dirty work for them. A face to face apology from management would have been much appreciated or a lunch on the house. I won't be going back here nor can I recommend the hotel to anyone else. On a plus note, the security man was very friendly and always waved and welcomed me into the grounds.

Very good resort , friendly and helpful staff , clean and confortable rooms good wifi connection. The food is also good. Happy to stayed in this resort.

Clean and beautiful grounds, close to busy Alona beach, helpful staff.

Incredible facilities, good location- far enough from Alona beach to be peaceful, but close enough to be accessible. The staff are friendly and helpful! Had an amazing time so we booked for more nights than planned! Thank you.

With Bohol Sea resort you will enjoy quiet and cozy time. Good enough. You can rent a bike to move around the area. Highly recommended.
