Hôtel du Beffroi

Hotel adequate for our purpose which was an overnight stop in readiness for the ferry

The man service was bad mood bec of me n kids re both deaf but the man was not respect to us. They did not milk to room for maker tea/ coffee.

Beautiful area. Friendly people. Hotel a little tired. Breakfast light but adequate. Overall very content.

The black walls in the corridors does nothing for this hotel at all and they are in a poor state of repair.The room as no tee or coffee making facility .No Parking restaurant basic but boarders ok

Welcoming, particularly on a cold Sunday in November.

We arrived after hours and was welcomed by the night receptionist.He had an unusual method of welcoming and he was cordial to me but was rude to one of the others in our party Saying he thought it was improper for a guest to walk around to try and find the restroom instead of asking. He seems uptight & defensive altho' I doubt he meant to be.The rooms were really like a hostel. The beds are essentially cots.my bed leaned, did not have a mattress cover on it and was worn out. The room does not have A/C and it was hot making us keep the window open on a street that gets loud early in the morning. We barely had enough towels & the toilet tissue was the tiny sheets left that come in a package not on a roll.Difficult to use. The bathtub was so narrow that my husband's feet did not fit properly and he almost fell out of the tub when he turned around. It would have been a bad fall since the tub is a bit high and and he would have hit something hard and porcelain.Bad wifi

Stayed for two nights, good central location and parking (free at the week-end) directly opposite the hotel. Room a little tired and carpet dirty, but acceptable. Our room was at the end of the building top floor so the roof sloped over the bed and the adjacent toilet, the latter making things a little difficult for a man to utilise (use your imagination!). A little noisy at night from the usual idiots outside on underpowered motorbikes which is fairly standard for France, and equally noisy neighbours in the next room, but at least being at the end room - just the one side! No tea / coffee making facilities, although the staff did kindly leave tea bags and coffee sachets when they saw we had brought a travel kettle. All towels etc taken daily which was environmentally unnecessary.

Hotel was a bit dated ~ foyer area was good but behind the scenes condition was poor. Breakfast ~ food available was poor with meat & eggs not available once the first containers had run out.

Our stay here was fine in the event, although they were in the throes of renovating the ground floor so there was associated mess. The lift being out of action was a mild inconvenience. Could be worth checking before booking if this is likely to cause you major problems.

Good. Cheap. Friendly. Great location. Typically French town.
