The room was very large for European accommodations. Bright and sunny. That being said, like most reviews it smelled of sewage straight away. The air conditioning worked well and helped with the smell. I am used to hard beds in Europe but these beds you could feel the springs the entire time. The first night there was a very large roach in my bed. The staff were accommodating offering to switch rooms. In the end we declined, if there is a roach in one room they’re in every room. Likely why there is no trash bins in the rooms and we had to dispose of trash each morning in the street bin. The staff did come spray the room and we did not see any further roaches after the first day. The location is perfect. The view is beautiful. Would I stay again no unfortunately not.

Older property but very clean. Considering the location. I can't believe how quiet it was at night. Walking distance to just about everything and a quaint park right across the street to sit at in the evening and look across the city and see the castle lit up. Would absolutely stay there again.

Terrible communications. No one received my numerous calls. Room didn't have any AC. Very noisy due to construction. Elevator is very old.

Located right in the heart of Bairo Alto, clean and simple room, but all you need is there for short stay. Great location, walkable everywhere, big windows - we had an awesome view of the water and downtown Lisbon from the 4th floor. Note for staff: The bathroom could use hooks for towels - there are none, so literally nowhere to hang them. But it’s a small thing, no big deal. The other note has nothing to do with hotel, but just a note on street noise - people were hanging out all night long in bars and cafes on streets facing the room, it is super loud until early morning hours. Closing windows helps but then you don’t get all that wonderful air. Heard this is only an issue in July/August due to high tourist season. Otherwise,

The entrance was bad. Stairs with no rail to the first floor to get elevator to the second floor lobby. Not safe. Room extra small but clean and ok.

The property is in a great location with access to different centric areas. It is nice and save to walk at any time.

Need more air filters in the room. Cleaning service was not clearly defined. Shower was good. Noise from street at night was heard even with windows closed. Room was spacious.

Stayed 3 nights. Excellent location. Would go again.
