Lovely stay. Great staff especially on the reception desk. Friendly, helpful what more could you want!

Decent location, carpark was ok but one part was gravel with a bank that required cautious driving. Ask for a room the is not above the entrance as it was busy and the smoke shelter was there, so quite loud at times.

The hotel is essentially behind the Baltic Gallery. It isn't that old but is showing signs of its age- starting to fray at the edges slightly. We stayed 3 nights- one was noisy but it died down after 10 pm. We walked over the Millennium Bridge and up to the hotel. There is an electric bus stopping nearby. We chose to walk - and there are plenty of hills around! Check in was friendly and efficient. We got a couple of rooms on the 5th floor. Neither had outstanding views but they were a decent size and had a comfy bed, small TV (channels not updated so still showing RT) tea/coffee, wall heater, sofa and a bathroom with a wet room style shower. The shower itself wasn't that powerful but OK We didn't have breakfast here- too expensive, but we had an evening meal which whilst not cheap had large portions. It is not the best hotel on Tyneside but is perfectly adequate and excellent value for money.

We were recommended this hotel for our basketball team. The hotel staff here fantastic, helpful and welcoming. Staff were great with our kids, making sure they had what they needed at dinner and lunch and the children were impressed with the food choice and the amount of food they got! Hotel rooms were great and spacious especially for our taller players. We would recommend this hotel for any sports teams visiting the local area! Thank you!

Lovely staff and a nice room, the bed wasn’t too comfortable but it was all very clean. The only issue we had was receiving a phone call through the room phone at 00:30 on our second night, which woke us both from a deep sleep but cut out before we could answer (presumably the staff member realised they had misdialled). It may have been accidental but is the reason for awarding 4 stars.

Great Hotel, booked as we were watching a gig at The Glass House, great location, lovely staff, really good value for money, will definitely stay here again
