It had good safe parking, the room was clean and comfortable

As always, a great hotel with big extremely clean rooms, a fantastic bar area and excellent staff. It’s my favourite hotel in Newcastle/Gateshead. One morning, I had to ask the cleaning ladies to keep their voices down as they were talking very loudly. However, they were very polite, apologised, and made a real effort to be quiet while cleaning the rooms next to mine. Thank you!

Great stay, which lighting in the bedrooms was better so you can actually work on the room

We visited this hotel last week as the base hotel for a football tournament being held in Newcastle. The staff are amazing, friendly, attentive, helpful.. the hotel was clean and the rooms more than adequate with excellent facilities. The restaurant staff are super, Jenny and Sam in particular go the extra mile to make sure you are cared for, always greet you with a smile and hello and nothing is too much for them.... absolute superstars who the hotel should be very proud of. We left the hotel with a smile having had a great few days... Thank you! Will return one day with my family 🫶🏼💪🏼💯

This hotel is a great find The location is amazing less than a 10 minutes walk to Newcastle Quayside but you can jump on a bus into Newcastle in less than 10 minutes The rooms are clean and spacious and to have a car park is great The breakfast is hot and plentiful The one thing that stands out is the staff friendly and very welcoming. I have to mention the breakfast team as they are amazing Thank you for an amazing stay

Large room, very clean , no air-con. No plugs near bed. Window didnt open as key missing so we asked for a key , or to supply a fan. That didn't happen, so when we got back for the night we asked again, and very helpfully a large fan was provided. Some plug sockets dont work. Breakfast was fine, friendly service by all staff in hotel

Reading the reports I was apprehensive about the hotel but in all honesty I was impressed with the hotel for the price paid, Carparking is very safe and is £10 a day .The receptionist staff are very friendly and made you feel welcome. Our room was very clean with a brilliant walk in shower. Breakfast staff go the extra mile and you are spoilt for choice. There is a bus stop outside the hotel into Newcastle or you can walk .We went to a concert at the Sage which is easily reached. People mention the people staying in the hotel put there by the local authority .Everyone we saw made an effort to say hello and are the ones who put their plates away etc.The children liked being spoken to .Nowhere did we smell drugs in our 2 day stay.

Very warm and friendly welcome and check in process…staff are a credit to you….. room was large, clean and comfortable… I was there for one night only and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Just a short walk into town.
