"Needs a good renovation"

6.0

It was more like a Camp than a Motel. There is no bolt on the door, I moved the dresser to block it. I had to go downstairs under main lobby to an underground on N side gound floor S side room. The window was open. Pretty old place:fridge (circa 1950) didn't work but the freezer was as cold as a fridge. Wall paper/ paint old. Shower tiny. Phone didn't work. Micro good.Good for low budget or if you want to hike/bike the Rail Trail Walkway over Hudson, which I did.

"Pleasant"

6.0

Atlas Motor Lodge was pleasant. Front desk person was very friendly and helpful, suggesting places to dine and nearby places of interest. Room was clean, comfortable, but a bit outdated. We had a non smoking room. The double swing outside the door was nice. I found time to enjoy it for little bit.

"Worst room ever"

Coffee maker was dirty. There was old food left in the hotel room refrigerator. Air conditioner was decrepit.

"Dingy but inexpensive."

2.0

Walls had pealing paper and mildew, Furniture appears to be second hand, sagging couch, dingy spread, flat pillows. Clean but old look. Staff friendly, but use protective class in office. We won't stay again.

"Excellent"

8.0

This hotel is undergoing room by room updates. They are doing a great job. I look forward to our stay next year. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. We had a coffee maker, fridge and microwave. The AC was working well and kept us very comfortable. The room we stayed in has not been updated so it was a bit tired. We went there to work. There was a wonderful restaurant next door so we could walk there after working. The staff is a family and super nice. We asked for one thing to be corrected and it was taken care of immediately. The best thing for us were the floors, NO carpeting! That is a win fewer allergens.

"Dingy smelly basement room"

2.0

We were to.d that we had a smoke free room. That was not the case. I could smell old stale smoke. My clothes had a smell to them that I could still smell the next day

"Please don't stay here!"

2.0

The room we stayed in had a bed bug problem. We didn't realize this until the welts showed up the following day after overnight our stay. My 83 yr. old mother and I are now dealing with the awful realization that we brought bed bugs back to our homes via our luggage. And undoubtedly, we will be out thousands of dollars. My husband emailed the hotel to tell them that our room was infested and the owners did not have the courtesy or guts to even respond. Despicable!

"Ok for overnight"

4.0

Although the room was paid in advance it was difficult to convince them. The only lock on the door was old fashioned key operated. The room was adequate but noisy. We had to run the ac even if not needed. There is no ice machine. We had to wait a couple of hours for them to make ice. There is no breakfast. The nearby diner was merely ok.

"Horrible experience for the price"

2.0

From the moment we walked into the lobby until we left it was not a good experience. This was the most expensive hotel on our trip but the least quality of them all. When we walked in the lobby smelled very must like and antique shop or old book store. The room did have fairly new hard wood floors but there were bubbles in it so when you walked across it was springy. When you sat on the foot of one of the beds the head of the bed raised up and you almost fell on the floor. When you laid on the other bed it squeaked every time you moved and it was not comfortable at all. When we left to get some dinner we left through the patio door (which you locked on the outside by a padlock but there was no lock on the inside) When we came back we tried to go through the main door but the key would not open the door lock so we had to use the patio door anyway. The refrigerator and the air conditioner were very loud keeping you awake most of the night.
