Atlas Motor Lodge

This is a slightly dated property but with beautiful grounds and a very attentive staff. Our room was spotlessly clean. The room had a little more space than usual. There was a microwave and refrigerator. A nice plus was the two sinks. There is a diner within walking distance and a supermarket and shopping center 1 minute away by car. I would stay here again.

The owners were quite nice. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. The WIFI worked! It is an older motel and quite dated, but still very servicable. It seemed to be family run. The location is quite convenient to the Mid-Hudsdon Bridge and it was close to a McDonalds and a mall with an excellent pizza restaurant.

I happened to book a room on a weekend when all of the hotels were full and I ended up being given a room that was slated for renovation and had a lot of signs of wear. I told the owner that I wasn't comfortable with the room and she took the time to listen to my concerns and switched me with another room. The hotel is clean and affordable. The aesthetics of the interior of the hotel aren't that great, but the staff was very helpful and friendly and my two small children loved it.

Good location, but that's all. Hotel was small, filthy. Ugly bathroom. Urgh... I don;t believe this hotel got its rating of 3.6 in an honest way. I have been to other 3.5~3.8 rated hotels. This one is not even close to those comparable rated hotels I have been.

If your looking for a clean, safe place to stay this is great. If you want the pool, fancy hotel bar, 5 star hotel decor this is not for you. I've been to both. This motel is just that a motel. Simple, plain, immaculate and fairly priced. If you want a state of the art, Vegas style Hotel go elsewhere. I liked it! Very friendly owners. I was able to check in 3 hours early...thank you!

The owner is wonderful - charming and helpful. She did not rush us out at all- she kept telling us to take our time, as we were packing up our van. For a budget motel, it is excellent. Don't expect a five-star Hilton! It is very clean and comfortable. The fridge was an unexpected bonus. Perfect place to stay for a trip to NYC; the Poughkeepsie train station is only a few miles away. Great place to stay when enjoying the Hudson Valley.

Not bad for a budget hotel but we were given a very small room. It was clean and had good linens and cable. I would like to know the room I was getting before I stayed there again.

It was alright

The overall feel of the place was what you'd expect for the price you pay, no complaints about that. I booked a week long stay since I was in town to work, and I carry a large work bag. Every single day when I would be leaving for work, the various people working at the front desk would be asking me if I was leaving. It was extremely annoying and obvious that they were hoping I would check out early so they could rent my room back out, even though it was already paid for.
