Windmills Hotel Apartments

Dirty old outdated apartments,Didn’t supply cooking equipment,They don’t clean and change your linen as often as they should,Like to bully women at the bar,Fights and police there a lot of the other places around state there not a very desirable family to run a business including the bouncer,They get very angry when you complain don’t like criticism.Avoid at all cost it’s not got a lot going on the area as the main protaras is 40 min walk

I have stayed in one of the apartments for 10 days. We found cockroaches under the bed, staff very rude especially at night time. The electric system went haywire two times which easily could've caused a fire. In addition, when they changed sheets on the rare occasions that happened it already had holes in them. Please please do not stay there

Windmills made us feel really welcomed, staff are really friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and clean with a big balcony. Food & drinks from the bar are 10/10 as well as the nighttime entertainment. Would deffo return and recommend to others❤️

Windmills is an excellent family run business who made us feel right at home during our stay here. Our room was large and spacious with good air con and a large balcony which was nice to relax on with nice views of the pool. The on site bar and restaurant served lovely drinks and food and provided us with a variety in house entertainment which we all loved. All the staff worked tirelessly to ensure our stay was the best and we appreciate the efforts they all went to. Would definitely recommend in future and already planning my next trip.

Myself and 2 children stayed here two years ago and I’ve been desperate to go back. And finally I’m taking my new fiance here for my birthday on 30th may! 22 days to go! Cannot wait. I love sitting on the balcony with the sun setting on my face so hopefully I get a room as good as the last. Food and entertainment was spot on and the people that worked there couldn’t do enough for us. I’ve stayed in all the bigger complexes around Cyprus 14 in total but this just felt like home and for half the price I’d paid before. Local shops and entertainment and a costal walk only 5 minutes away

Elainey and family are excellent hosts nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful pool plenty of sunbeds no need to put your towel on them at 6am. We would highly recommend staying here. Thiswas our second year and we will be back again next year.

Booked for a week, left within 24hrs, others were also doing the same whilst we were checking out, all with hygiene, health & safety and noise complaints. Room initially looked big, floor clean & just dated, had no crockery pans etc to cook with but someone did bring to room couple hours later. Then found creatures in the bed, which made us pull sheets off & found disgustingly stained mattresses, pillows stained, someone let themselves in room whilst we were in bed at night, balcony was filthy, do not expect to be able to sleep if your rooms are anywhere near reception as normal entertainment starts early eve at reasonable level then 9ish onwards increases to mix of singing/karaoke dance music etc full volume to 2am. Manager was abrupt & told me no, none of it had happened on raising in morning- until I showed her pictures/videos. She initially blamed a bar down the road for noise (that had a band on but we couldn’t hear it) then said well it’s legal to have it until 1.30am. Attempt to change rooms was to move us to a room that someone was still in at that point so we left. There is a nice place to eat across the road though and further bars takeaways on the same street worth a visit.

The Windmill is a lovely family owned and run hotel, apartment, and restaurant. I have enjoyed staying here a couple of times now. I found the staff friendly and helpful. The cleaner in my block was very thorough and left my room smelling clean and fresh. The food is very good and a reasonable price. They have entertainment in the evenings. I have enjoyed my stay each time. I give 4 out of 5 because of the smell of drains around the pool. The family are upgrading more and more of the rooms each year

Credit where credit is due, the award for the dirtiest, dated run down room iv walked into sat down for less than 30 minutes and had to leave! See attached photos! Admittedly price of 65€ a night is a below average price for the area. But still I do expect a minimum standard in cleanliness, sofa bed I sat on with in 60 seconds my but cheeks were feeling the wooden slats under the small soft mattress. Tv did not work shelf in fridge broken, tiles cracked and wobbly. Plastic seating for balcony dirty skirting light switches then decided i didn't want to look no further. We have been using the windmill bar for years great place to eat, drink and listen to music with always exceptional service and thought to give the apartments a try. Note to self read the reviews.

Just stayed in the apartments for 11 days . Have had a wonderful time all the staff from cleaners/ bar staff / and owners were simply great , so charming , so helpful so willing to engage in conversation . Loved the music , the company , the sport , whatever you want you will find it at the Windmill . Just relax and have fun , the pool is lovely to help you cool down , the range of beaches are within walking distance and local shops and other music venues close by . The breakfasts choice was spot on and wonderful service and chat with Staff . The restaurant was so good with wonderful food with generous portions . Must give special mention to Eleni , Pedro and George who helped make our holiday so special . The apartments are clean and all you need , the bar and restaurant so good but it is the people at Windmill that make it the best place to unwind and enjoy that wonderful sunshine . All of us would recommend this as a great holiday venue and we will definitely be back thanks to all at the Windmill xx
